Dammit I've supported you through DA2, and look what we got?  I love Inquisition!  So I'll buy Jaws of Hakkon too...

But, can't we just get one DLC out there that either continues the story of the main game or plays on what we all learned recently about the whispering pools?  What ever became of the Warden?  Maybe something that sets us up for the next game?  That would be awesome.

I killed 10 major dragons in this game.  I can only imagine how anti-climatic it will feel when I kill the next one after paying an outrageous AUD25.  Still, you have my heart Bioware.  And I'll let it bleed for you.  Just a little.  So please don't allow me to die in disappointment.

You can get $5 refunded from that purchase if you ask EA nicely.

As for continuing the main story. The dlc have always been side missions. Or after the main story.

I guess I'm also willing to accept that it might not be immediately clear of how significant the DLC is to the main story line.  The same way how Legacy in DA2 didn't seem like much at the time.

Inquisition soured my palate quite a bit - far more critical.  There are quite a few requests for what I'd classify as new games -clearly folks like the general plot, but have nagging issues.  Kantr is quite correct on both accounts the second is more technical in how history is held together in the game, so ideally a parallel story with a new and unique path is easier to achieve.  You can also check out some of the fan material in suggestions.

Missions after the main story are always going to be the interesting ones with the revelations in the epilogue and the fact that we aren't like in the first two games leaving everything behind

I see.

That will sure teach them to make crappy DLCs, buying every damn DLC they make then begging for them to give you what they want after they have your money.

It's an exaggeration, but yeah I'll cop that.

Maybe if you think this DLC is going to be anti-climactic, you shouldn't buy it?

Afterall, what motivation does EAware have to make the content/game you want if you're going to buy their stuff regardless of their effort?

Exactly this... They still havent fixed all the broken/incorrect passives, and abilities.. These are basics, almost 5months later, STILL not working.. These should never have been sold, more less still being existing.. And to add insult to injury, they spam GOTY praise all over the p[lace, and SELL more DLC, as opposed to fixing whats broken.. And thats just 1 broken thing.. Theres still a laundry list of issues, large, and small...

Game of the Year isn't as meaningful as it used to be. I think it's basically whomever spends the most money towards gaining the award than actually making the best game. Kind of like how the US elects their presidents.

Yah, it is like choosing the least rotten fruit out of a basket of rotten apples. Even if you have picked the least rotten one out of the basket, it is still rotten.

Is it not a bit early to speak on this as they have...only just started working on major DLC for DAI?

I am with whoever said it. Fix what things need to be fixed in the game before adding major content...you know, like those annoying male elf arms, and that dumb non-rendering character you pass at the start of the game, and silly hair, and well textures and pop up issues in general. Not to mention narrative that gets messed up...

You know, the little things.
