Not really, since the shadow has just base human speed and acceleration. Any Drell specced for maximum fitness is both faster and accelerates Bella faster as well.
Well the Drell has like 10% more base movement speed. So with all the passives he's 30% + 25% from Adrenaline Mod. 55%. So he's still slower than Shadow. But he can have that 55% constantly though instead for just 4 seconds.
Drell would be great for the '22 World Cup.

No. What I'm saying is that they have a higher base speed and acceleration. Each race has different values for those as a base, and bonuses are applied to those. Can't recall the numbers exactly but I'm pretty sure Drell ones were higher enough than humans that 10,15, or even 20% more as a bonus won't be enough to let the shadow come out in front. Let alone acceleration, in which the best race other than Drell has like... One third of their acceleration.
No fitness Drell is not all that fast.

^ So for max storm speed, Drell get (.2+.25)750 + 750 = 1087.5 and Shadow (with "speed" spec) gets 4 seconds of (.2+.25+.15)700 + 700 = 1120 ?

Also curious as to what these accel rates translate to in terms of seconds/milliseconds. The Drell (with 2500 accel rate), for example, seems to hit max speed almost instantly

Drell are one of the fastest and most agile characters in the game. The fact that hasn't been pointed out is they have a pretty high carry weight because they are extremely stout characters as well. Drell would easily be the answer here if we're talking best overall athlete.

Drell are still, on average, faster. It's just that the Shadow tops out at the fastest speed (and only for 4 seconds after a properly specced SS/using Adrenaline Mod 3)
I'd say it's more like Shadows are natural sprinters - very dangerous over short distances

Turian Soldier has reach and flexibility which trumps all this sprinting crap in terms of pure athleticism

I would say Asari would suck at curling.... They strike me more as the the baseball pitcher or soccer types...
Hmmm...probably between the Slayer, Drell, Asari, and Shadow...the Fury seems like she would be a bit athletic as well. now who would be the most athletic out of that bunch?...idk, maybe the drell and asari?...because in the game they have them to be more superior to humans in ability anyway, so i think it would come down to those two....also because aliens?...
