Hey there,

 

I'm just asking, since it's a known bug that FT Varghest Hide curiously drops of Gurn in the Hissing Wastes, rather than... well, Varghest. I've been in the desert farming those poor rhinos for hours and no luck at all; so to not waste more hours of my lifetime, I wanted to know whether someone can confirm that they haven't secretly fixed it by now.

Sorry for the fuss - found some. I can confirm that it has been fixed now - the "30% damage bonus if unscathed for 5 seconds" still drop of Gurn in the Hissing Wastes, but are properly called "Fade Touched Gurn Hide" now.

I should go farm Gurns, I haven't ever gotten this material. When it says unscathed, does that mean no damage to health or no damage to health, barrier, or guard?

If it follows the pattern of the earlier ones the Fade Touched Gurn Hide should be +30% damage bonus if not being hit for 5 seconds

You should farm gurns because they give that awesome purple leather. Pair it with Navarrite and you are cooler than Prince during his Purple Rain days.

 

Also my understanding of this is that it is not being hit (and therefore losing health) consecutive seconds.
