So what happened to the urn of sacred ashes, anyway?

We knew the urn had disappeared since before Inquisition even came out, and I was sure this'd have an impact on the story. That it'd be in the hands of the bad guys, or would reappear later...

Right now, I can only conclude it fell through a plot hole and is now in Convenienceland, along with the Hero of Ferelden and all the healing magic.

Hell, is it even brought up at any point in the game? It's like no one remembers it existed at all.

It's vanished. Spirit dude took it someplace else.

Which means the writers can return to it later. Rather than having it blown up

It got boiled in dragon blood for me. lol So that begs the question, where is the risen Andraste?

If you kept the Urn pure, then the Guardian ran off with it, if you corrupted it then the dragon ran off with it. Regardless a powerful being swiped our cure all. Who knows what the dragon's doing with the bloody ashes (literal) if she's the one with it.   :o

It grew legs and arms to go to Seheron where it would challenge the Arishok previously known as Sten to a duel for slighting its honor.

My main warden tarnished them with dragon blood. So it works if they're gone.

But also, it gives me a compelling reason to play my DAI character as someone who believes he's the Herald. He wants to believe Andraste still thrives and intervenes, no matter what sacrilege occurred. And maybe the mysterious spirits in that place actually want to as well. Like the Guardian did.

It's in the codex.. and affects Leliana's attitude if you tainted them. In my version, no one believed Genetivi's story at first, and he eventually commited suicide because the Warden polluted the ashes. When people went to search, they were gone. But personally, that makes sense to me since the Warden lost his mind and let the dragon cult live.

Maybe the HOF took it to help in curing the calling if your warden did'nt corrupt the urn that is ,  if he did then I ain't got a clue .

If I were to place a bet, I'm in the 'Flemeth has something to do with their disappearance' camp. I mean, she went silent for ten years. Who knows what kind of planning, nudging, and prodding she has done over the last decade?

Convenienceland sounds like such a nice place to store such things. Characters or places are there as well.

So are character deaths and reanimations. And disposable Dalish clans.
