[QueenPurpleScrap]

I mentioned this recently in my semi-ongoing DAI op-ed piece but thought it might be fun to start a whole new thread devoted to silly pleasures.

 

Since the new tint table I am spending way too much time making sure my current LI and I coordinate. It doesn't have to be complete matchy-matchy, but I want the visual connection when I'm watching them killing baddies and helping people all over Thedas. When I get to my other computer I'll add a picture of Blackwall and Valkyr Adaar.

 

I've made my confession. What's yours?

If the other boards are any indication, my guilty pleasure would be that I enjoy the game, and that's it. I also like Sera and dislike Vivienne, so there's 2 more.

Screenarchery and listening to Maryden's songs. I spend more time fixing the camera than actually playing.

And voices. Claudia Black's voice is like hot chocolate syrup. So is Gideon Emery's.

I enjoy Cole and Cassandra banter a lot, no matter how many times I've heard it.
I think of Cespar, Cassandra, and Cole as my gaming family, and will be very sad when their stories are done.

My guilty pleasure is that I try to find the "ne plus ultra" armor/appearance of every companion. Basically I deck everyone out in full armor, or at least try to.

Probably that I'm really enjoying playing female mage characters as with Alix's voice and the long flowy armours I use on my mage quizzy just all works well in making my character look sexy with the tinted armour but makes her feel powerful as well

My guilty pleasure = Not using mounts at all.

 

I basically walk my way through the map repeated times without summoning a mount. I even look at the rocks formations/grasses/flowers in each area to see how detailed it is.  Silly I know.

I'm kind of horrible at pathfinding, and used to scramble up cliff faces or slide down them only to find that there was a perfectly good path running up the hills just over there. 

 

Over time, awkwardly jumping up mountains and sliding down them rather than ascending them properly has become a weird habit of mine. Sometimes I fade step off for extra umph. The party probably thinks my Inquisitor is a weirdo. Or suicidal.

Sticking around for the lore and worldbuilding, despite having grown a thorough dislike for the game and EA and Bioware.

Picking up every loot, herb and metal that I see when running around.

 

That's not very enjoyable though, but I always play like that

 

Tinting armor as well, not matching  for me and LI.. cause Cullen.. but I try to make everyone look good. Plaideweave and colorful stuff to Sera, silk and expensive fabrics for Dorian and Vivienne, black and red for Cass (cause it's badass) etc.
