After doing my "perfect" playthrough where everything is right and shiny, I do multiple upon multiple playthroughs where I make all the down and dirty choices. And I like it! Especially the last one!

The open-world nature of it. I realize that DAI is very MMO-ish in the open sense of it and the side quests generally being about as spread out and uninteresting as most MMOs and plenty of people have voiced their displeasure with it, but I can't help it. I love wandering around the epic landscapes of places like the Storm Coast, Fallow Mire, Crestwood, etc. Even the Hinterlands are awesome. I've recorded hours of gameplay where I'm just wandering the countryside and it's magnificent.

I never sell or let my non-elven companions use any of the legendary elven weapons that you can find throughout the game. I keep them safe in the storage of the Undercroft and headcanon that my dalish Inquisitor returned them to her people once the war was over and Corypheus defeated.

In addition to creating back stories for my Inquisitor (and adding my own spin to my Wardens and Hawkes) I like to create original names for them: Daikeer, Jezle, Valkyr, Ka'inelle, Kyriel, Jazzny, Dezra, etc. I don't always, but more often than not. In the past In DAO I've even incorporated my planned LI into the name - Eschevra comes to mind, lol.

Besides my 2000+ pages of DA fan fiction, and my DA fan site (see signature), I have recently commissioned a professional artist to do a very beautiful (seen the WIP already) image of all my canon DA Heroes and their love interests together.  It's just stunning so far, can't wait to share once completed.

Creating back stories for each of my characters I use, as my protagonist, and using the other races as side characters that may or may not appear ingame in my headcannon...

 

Never not clicking the heart icon when talking to Dorian despite  playing as a female.

 

Never romancing characters, that have a sort, of ingame  pairing because I feel like im breaking them up... (e.g seraxdagna)

 

Only playing as a female human because I can never connect to a male character or any other race >.>

Also, when I exile the Wardens I like to troll them by praising the warden who died' sacrifice before saying "NOW GTHO OF ORLAIS." It makes me laugh.

I'm a bad person.


Oh, and if someone does something bad in game I don't appreciate I make them the most ugly armor they can wear with tacky colors as punishment :K
