If Bioware doesn't patch the fade cloak cheat, or punish cheaters then I'm gone, simple as that. It is completely pointless to grind in this game when people are using that god mode cheat. I already downloaded neverwinter, so go ahead Bioware give me a reason to ditch your game please.

hopefully this game won't go the way of console D3, cuz that would be Teh Suxxor. i played with a dude(XB1) that had perma-fade cloak. i know about the FC exploit, but i wasn't aware it could be up 100% of the time- like literally from the moment we left the zone one spawn point until the extraction scene. how is that even possible?
when someone in our team asked him about it after, he got really mad and defensive and then quit, lol

My understanding is that it doesn't really help you farm gold/experience and other players quit on you.
Kind of like the camping spot on Firebase Hydra.

Thing is it's a cooperative game mode and until the mishap gets fixed (trust me, they will fix it) no one is going to get seriously hurt.

I'm sure Biower is well aware of the mechanics, and they are closely monitoring the analytics to ensure a quality gameplay experience for everyone who plays and will play DAIMP. They are an excellent development and testing team, so you must believe they are doing what's best and right for the game.
In fact, you should thank them for the Fade Cloak interaction. It allows teams of players to experience the wide array of content present in DAIMP without the frustration of losing. As gold and XP are shared equally between the team, everyone wins!
I would be more upset about cheaters if it were pvp.
That and I don't think I have run into people cheating, but I have only been playing 4 weeks or so.

Playing the MP and seeing how much stuff is there I don't think they even cared about DAMP anyways.
There are actual cheaters around that use cheatengine and gain infinite guard even on mages and godmode through games, gaining prestige at rates impossible to achieve without third party hacks.
Don't pay any mind to the cheaters or the leaderboard. It is completely cosmetic.
That said, have fun with your games and with other people. I am liking the Pillars of Eternity game by Obsidian for my Single Player old-school RPG itch. I have fun with DAMP when I can .

I joined someone's lobby through matchmaker. I found an archer soloing perilous. I got curious. I thought maybe he was just sitting somewhere near the starting zone. So I hit ready and entered his game. To my surprise he was in zone 2, face-tanking stuff without getting damaged, so I followed him around a bit more. Then mobs started attacking me and I wasn't taking any damage either. I got scared and left the lobby. I think this was around the time the new Elven ruins map was released. Never ran into him again, nor anyone else using that cheat. Never ran into anyone using fade cloak exploit either. I'm just lucky, I guess.

MP can be tedious enough when you do it the hard way, why would someone want to cheat and take even more of the fun out of it?
there is a serious problem with cheaters though, at least on the leaderboards.
They need to clear the cheaters off those boards because its pretty ridiculous at this point. The guy I was fighting with for rank 23 shot up to #1 with 1000 points lmao. This happened like two days ago. Went from 630sh to 1000 lmao...
Yeah.... playing this was a waste of time. I'm guessing at least 30% or more of the leaderboards on pc platform likely cheated their rank.
Does bioware care? Nope.
Most people that think Neverwinter think of Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2. Both of which are made by Bioware. They don't realize that there is an MMO out there actually endorsed to my knowledge by Wizards of the Coast based on the same world that was beta tested at least. I didn't keep up to know how it ended up after the beta test stage last year or year before now. I'm kind of behind the times because of the hours that I work at my job. I also never tried it myself. Just heard about it once or twice.
