With a bit of luck it will be patched out in patch 7 (which has a DAMP focus),

so 2-3 weeks maybe.

As far as I remember (never tried it myself) the Ele Fade Cloak abuse is pretty bad for the team due to its low xp reward, and on Perilous xp is all that matters. There is virtually no point in completing Perilous matches earning less than 21k per match - I personally consider less than 25k to be bad - my gaming time is limited.
From that perspective, Ele Fade Cloak abuse is more of a hindrance than a cheat per se. Players who use it aren't going to get too far into this game, not to mention they may earn a few kick votes. A Keeper with Barrier and Static Cage can do better.

Fade cloak thing is pretty stupid and annoying, but there's definitely cheating beyond that, too.  I've joined some PUGs lately where there's people on perilous with full guard that aren't even warrior classes and seem to take no damage...I need to start writing down names and just listing them here, for shame purposes.  Like they'll have any, heh.

How is it possible to glitch full guard? Are you aware of recent changes made to katari? he gets guard when he hits now and abilities like to the death actually can fully generate guard depending on dmg dealt.

I've experienced playing in a pug where the host had some kind of cheat going on. Full guard on an AW, one hit all mobs, etc.

They need to clear the cheaters off those boards because its pretty ridiculous at this point. The guy I was fighting with for rank 23 shot up to #1 with 1000 points lmao. This happened like two days ago. Went from 630sh to 1000 lmao...

Yeah.... playing this was a waste of time. I'm guessing at least 30% or more of the leaderboards on pc platform likely cheated their rank.

 

Agreed!  Our group of friends noticed him/her too.  And they keep changing their name, like that's going to help when the devs decide to ban the account for hacking/cheating.

 

Maybe the person we are talking about can defend themselves on this forum, it would be nice to know how they increased by 400 points over night.

 

Not sure where you get your 30% from?  I know my perilous group dosn't cheat.  We have 1000's of hours game play time and gain 3 - 6 prestige points per day with ease. It slows down now all achievements are finished though.

6 prestige per day?   That would probably take 10 hours.  Not something I would brag about if you know what I mean.

6 points per day 7 days a week is pretty damn hardcore. I wish I could afford to play that much. I gain about 3-4 points per day when I can get into a solid team; 6 points on Sundays or Holidays without sleeping.
