So I'm playing, trying to be clever with my money, and I assumed that just like your Cobra Missile Launchers, Ops Survival Packs, Thermal Clip Packs, and Medi-Gels, the ammo, weapon, and armor bonuses would max out at 255, meaning you wouldn't get them in the store anymore. However, I keep getting ammo, weapon, and armor bonuses that I already have 255 of. I had 260 Armor Piercing Rounds level one, then after a couple matches, I had 255, and everything else I'd gone over 255 had come back down. But then I bought more recruit packs and the same thing happened.

 

I was hoping that when I maxed out the level one bonuses, the recruit packs would give me level two bonuses until they were maxed out, then give me threes, and so on. But it appears that I was wrong. Does anybody know if they ever max out at all? Also, I can't max out my uncommon items because I keep getting equipment bonuses, any suggestions on that? I'd like to level up my uncommon weapon attachments without spending ten million in veteran packs.

Well, you just gotta keep trying..... RNG is an A-hole at times in that.... I take it you hit the cap for rares?

AFAIK, ammo/armor/weapon equipment are added endlessly.

 

To get uncommon weapon mods, Arsenal Packs might work out, since Arsenal Packs do not receive character cards. They don't have a higher direct chance to drop weapon mods, but since they never drop character cards and do drop uncommons, they may work. Otherwise, yeah. You're going to have to spend a lot of credits on Veteran packs.

 

Hopefully someone else has the data on hand. I know the UR drop rate mechanics, but not the uncommon ones.

There is no cap on how much equipment you can get in the store.   I think I have gotten up to 400 at one time.  However, you can only keep 255.  Whenever you exit and enter the store again or go into a new lobby, the equipment resets to 255.

 

Vet and Sceptre packs are the way to go for maxing out equipment.

The chances for uncommon items from recruit packs is quite low. Buy Veteran Packs until the uncommons are maxed, for rare and ultrarare spectre or arsenal.

By cap for rares, I take it you mean maxed out all my rare items, and no, I haven't.

Pay them real money and they might raise the 255 cap to 256.

That is correct. You may get level IV equipment in the Rare slots, but you will not get character cards.

You keep getting equipment even if you hit the 255 cap. I think if you reset a lobby the consumables will reset to 255. I can't remember though on that. I know that if you reset the game you will have 255. I recommend getting a few different builds that utilize each consumable type

^^^This. Don't waste your credits on Vet/Recruit packs.

Stick for Veteran packs if you want more level 2 & 3 stuff. Stick with Spectre for the most 3 & 4. And stick with the 99k packs if you only care about level 4 stuff.

 

PS- always top up with Jumbo packs first before spending sprees. Maxed or non-maxed manifest.

I have gotten character cards from arsenal packs before (just the xp vanilla cards)

Those do not max out. You get them indefinitely, but once you quit the MP the extras disappear.

Only character cards I've seen drop from Arsenal Packs are rare and Ultra Rare (I got two Ultra Characters in one Arsenal Pack)

Thanks everyone for the responses, I'm mostly spending in Arsenal Packs now, and I'm making progress on my Uncommons at a faster rate than I was spending the equivalent in Veteran Packs, as well as making progress on my rare equipment. i never used veteran packs to unlock stuff. always did spectre packs and the primium on weekends
