Hello everyone, its your old friend TinySquid. I've just finished playing and posting a review of Jaws of Hakkon. I thought I would give my impression of the DLC.

--------------

Brief Written Review:

To get straight to the point, I do not advocate buying it currently unless you have the money free. It is certainly worth supporting developers and encouraging new content, which is mainly why I purchased it myself, but if you are on a tight budget I would wait for this DLC for a while; until a price drop.

I say this because of a general lack of content for the price. Omega and Citadel for ME3 really showcase what Bioware can offer for $15; and you don't get even half of that in terms of content with Jaws. The new area, while certainly beautiful, is too empty; both in action and quests. While I certainly had fun playing it; I think it was mostly due to it being "new Dragon Age" and not because of its own quality.

There are several new Tier 4 materials, beautiful new weapon schematics, tough new enemies, and wonderful, rich lore. Unfortunately, with a minimum recommended level of 20; these aren't properly incorporated into the overall game. You will enjoy what you get, but only for the brief period of relevance they possess.

Bonus: This DLC includes a lot of new material and interaction with Scout Harding. That alone might make you think its worth it!  ;)

Check out my video review for more info and scenes from the DLC. Spoiler free!

If you agree, or even better disagree, feel free to comment here or there and subscribe if you wish!  :)

(I'm posting this in both Scuttlebutt's because of their different audiences.)

I haven't played it even though I bought it :P I didn't see your whole video because of it, but you seem like a nice honest guy.

Loved Scout Harding in this dlc. She has really lost the awestruck shyness she had  at the start of the game and revealed a wicked sense of humor. Some of her observations had me laughing out loud.

Thank you Mr./Ms. Serenade. :) The new channel I'm building is meant to be based on honesty and fairness; not a place to curse three times a sentence to bait views. :)

And Frank, I agree wholeheartedly. I love Harding; I wish she could be a party member. Any new material is wonderful concerning her; but the DLC did make me happy in that regard; we got quite a bit more of her than I was expecting. Fan service, no doubt. :P
