I know this most likely not the best place to ask. I'm upgrading my TV. I looked around at the deals. 4k seems great. However it is so expensive, I came across a 42 inch 4k HDTV for 450 dollars. I literally been searching online. I could find nothing on youtube or any reviews on it at all.

For a 400 budget. What HDTV would you suggest. I want get the 4k one. I heard that the brash is pretty much trash. I could get a smart TV HD for that price. What I'm asking is 4k TV better quality even though, it's not name brand.

Any 4KTV for that kind of money is bound to be crap, even more so for 1080p content.

42 inches is kinda big considering how big my living room is. I heard if you have a 50 inch. You should be at least ten feet away from the TV. I'm maybe five feet. The thing is. I hear from people the brand name is bad. I been looking for any reviews on that TV. I haven't found any. I know last year it costed a thousand. Now its 450 for a 42 inch. I don't know how good the TV is though. I thought maybe some people on here knew that.

I guess I should stick to a HDTV with at least 240 GH refresh rate. Problem is most of them are sold out online.

I think to actually use 4K resolution the TV/Monitor should have an advanced cooling system. Our 1080p 42" Sony TV is kinda warm (over 40 degree Celsius).

120Hz is all you need for television, since most (at least all that I know from the top of my head) TV signal standards are either 30Hz or 24Hz, meaning you can ensure fluent compatibility with different signal standards (120Hz is 4x 30 or 5x 24 for example). Going higher than 120Hz wields little to no benefit for television.

Alright. 120 is fine with me. That place that offered the 4k for 450. I'm concerned the quality of that TV might not be great. I don't have anything to compare it too. Nothing on youtube about it. I think I might just go with a HDTV to be safe then.  I was looking at this TV below. If anyone can find a cheaper price or a better TV off amazon. I'm open to suggestions.
