after played the dragon age:inquistion game. it left me what in the world happened at the closing scen about solas and morrigans mother at the end. I would like to play a DLC  where we track down solas in more detail and try to find him or about his background. I know there is a war table mission about it where you send agents to track him down and can't find him and the place where he lives is a bunch of ruins. I would like at least to try to track him down and find out why he left after the orb was broken and what was his true purpose. but at least I think we need a explanation of what happened in the closing scene between them two at least. I am like what happened?

I'm fairly certain the devs won't just leave that thread hanging. What form we'll see it totally resolved in, however, is debatable (as in, they may give us a DLC where the Inquisitor tracks him down, but we might not get many real answers until DA4, similar to the function Witchhunt served).

Agreed -Winged Silver posed it as a cliffhanger for the plot and it would be a shame not to fill that void.

Not sure what they'll do with it. I think it's pretty clear that Solas trusts the Inquisitor to run things smoothly. In a case where he doesn't... I guess he would just not care. It seems he only cares about "the people", meaning elves. And it seems to be that he's trying to use his power to keep the other elven "gods" in check (no pun intended).

 

The real questions are if he absorbed Mythal's power or not, and if so then does he now have control over the one who drank from the Well of Sorrows?

 

If not, then clearly Solas' next target is Mythal, especially if Solas' (ex)girlfriend drank from the well.

 

Unless he trusts Mythal. In which case he's working with her to bring a reckoning. Unless he's just playing along with it and plans to trick her at some point.
