A couple of really weird ones:
The flic flac spider is a newly discovered species of spider (April 2014) native to Morocco. It does cartwheels.
The bloodybelly comb jelly is a strange deep sea comb jelly (the largest group of animals that swim by means of cilia, which are normally found in individual cells). Similar to jellyfish, it lacks any centralized nervous system. It looks like something out of James Cameron's The Abyss:
