Dromaeosaurus - able to do speeds at about 30 miles an hour and hunted in packs. I know what cheetahs were in there past life tbh.

I had plastic dinos too. That came with trees, rocks and volcanoes. I use to set them up along my shelves and I'd get so annoyed if someone moved them from their spots. I'm still like that with my nicknacks like Alduin for example.

 

And Dobby, that tarantula was so cute tbh. Sorry it died. I know I'm gonna hate it when my python dies one day. She's totes adorbz and gives me kisses too. Though she's actually smelling me since that's how they get use to their surroundings, flicking their tongue in and out.

Weirdest pet I ever had was a baby duck for a semester in high school. I took the chick nobody wanted because he had a cyst on his head. In the end it made him look like he had an Afro and it was awesome!

I named him Frank and for the majority of the Semester Frank traveled around in my breast pocket. It was the coolest/cutest thing ever!

 

It was really hard to give him back when the class ended.

 

Spiders and Snakes though... Snakes don't bother me like Spiders do but I still wouldn't want one as a pet!

Here's another neat one (it's not disgusting, I promise): The star nosed mole.

 

 

The star nosed mole is pretty much blind, as it spends most of its time underground. However, its weird nose-thingy (to use the technical terminology) is one of the most sensitive sensory organs of any mammal out there. Whenever the nose makes contact with something, the mole is able to decide whether or not that thing is edible in a matter of milliseconds. It's been named the fastest eating mammal in the world by the Guinness Book of World Records, with an average 'handling time' (the amount of time from the moment when it decides something is edible to when it's done and searching for new prey) of 230 milliseconds. Although the distinctive nose organ itself is more for touching than smelling, the star nosed mole also has the unique ability to smell stuff underwater, by blowing out lots of bubbles and then inhaling them really fast.
