So it's been 133 days since DA:I and DAMP released.

At the same time since release for Mass Effect 3 in North America, the DLC pack "Earth" was released.

The third (3rd) DLC pack released since launch.

I'm not trying to be critical, however there does seem to be quite a large disparity of DLC support between these two games as of today.

Happy Earth day BSN...

(EU dates listed)

ME3MP’s DLC:

Main game (9/3/12):  6x maps, 18x characters, 35x weapons, 3x difficulties

And we still don't have any MP DLC.....

It's embarrassing is what it is.

Thats the problem, I've seen people play down the lack of DLC because they still consider Dragon Age a new game. The game is over 5 months old now. So much for supporting this game longer than ME3...

It's all in the signs! MEMP got 3 DLC in 5 month, DAMP got 1 in same time, it means DAMP will be supported for 3 times as long!

Now that you say it... What the hell guys?

I know the mode is not as popular as MEMP and never will be, because it's #1 neither a shooter nor one of these weird looks-like-a-Warcraft-3-mod-moneygrabber-games I don't understand cause I'm old; and #2 the majority of target audience customers are disgusted by the mere idea of defiling their franchise with a MP.

But I just happen to love it, the people I play with, the characters and even the goddamn banter. There are people digging what you might come up with.

At the moment of ME3 launch Bioware has worked several years with Unreal Engine 3. Frostbite 3 is much more complex than UE3, and DAI is first BW game based on it. They are still struggling with it, and flow of this struggle may influence internal game models in many ways. From developers POV it's better to end this struggle before start to create new massive content.

What's embarrasing is your lack of knowledge about the fact that there is a multiplayer dlc out

Lol DLC - adding a few creatures and various bugs is not something I would call DLC

What's embarrassing is your inability to correctly spell "embarrassing", and the fact that you consider that DLC.

Now go away, fanboy.

Just messing with you. I don't think that has anything to do with the lack of content though. The whole MP project is just a giant bowl of fail.

I was always under the impression you lingered because you were a disillusioned former enthusiast. But considering that statement now, why spend so much lifetime on something you fundamentally dislike in the first place? It's like if I registered in the Madden forums to tell everybody I never cared about American Football.

Because I paid for the game, and because I can.

Edit - Who said I never cared about the game? I liked it, and it could've been great if only some obviously flawed decisions weren't made, and the game got some decent support.

Eh. I'm not a fanboy. Although I admit I was lazy in not using the spell check :). I consider it DLC because it is downloadable content. That's it.

The multiplayer is.. not very good.

Probably. But you do download it though

The whole problem is that there haven't been any "real" decisions made so far, other than "Yes, animals", isn't it though?

Sure, some skills have been altered here and there, but nothing was groundbreaking enough to change the flow of the game. If the way the MP works isn't fun to you, I was just thinking that it probably could never have been - because it never changed. "Boring or exhausting at this point", that's a different story.

Exactly - this game has the potential to be much better than it currently is.

Decisions we are refering to are things like making power damage dependant on weapons, the collision mechanics (which they have fixed in fairness) and the fact that their is very little variety because so many Unique weapons are low level and are therefore useless. Finally the matchmaking which isolates the player base. These decisions have been detrimental to the game

I like it cuz it's D3 in 3D (sorta haha). I don't like it cuz it takes too long to fix problems and there's no new content.

hopefully some new DLC soon....

A BioWare representative confirmed that they would "support [Dragon Age: Inquisition's] multiplayer far beyond Mass Effect 3," adding that "they have a lot of content planned for Dragon Age for months on end."

Please refer back to OP, even if the team on DAMP stays longer to support it that doesn't mean we'll be getting anywhere near the content ME3MP got. "Support" is such a vague term, it could mean anything. Content release so far doesn't give us much hope, and I'm not even going to start on dev interaction.

What I was saying has clearly gone over your head - adding a few anaimals and a whole host of bugs and issues is not what I would consider acceptable DLC. Also I like how you edited your posts after you were called out...You do realise someone has quoted your original post though right?

If a BioWare representative said that they were going to support the game far beyond Mass Effect 3 then it is objectively true and cannot be questioned!
