Mark my words we will get one good DLC the dragon slayer that has been mentioned (and by good I mean normal but it will seem good because we have been starved for anything for some time now). Then we will get a dlc with maybe 1 or 2 new maps and maybe 1 or 2 variations and that will be it.

I don't think we even need DLC with the massive amount of communication we are getting from the devs these days.

Well played sir or madam.

I did have a discussion with a programmer friend about how much more difficult the Frostbite engine is versus the Unreal engine, and how BW is really learning as they go with it. Which, honestly, would explain a lot about the bugs and difficulties releasing DLC. Even explains the lack of communication if you think about it. Unfortunately, DAMP has become a casualty of that learning curve.

It doesn't explain skill descriptions being wrong, SP port of equipment being inexcusably mistuned for MP (hello focus gain weapons and broken skill rings), and post-release character rebalances and skill changes nobody asked for, wanted, or felt was needed.

Allan Schumacher chilled me out for another eight weeks or so, when he came in to diffuse the Penguin situation, but here we are and all that has changed is no more key bug, among a smattering of other small beneficial changes.

I'm trying really hard to be patient.

But with games like Bloodbourne and Borderlands Handsome Collection here, and Witcher on the way, I've replaced DAMP in my life. And I'm really enjoying the replacement games. And I think that's happening to a lot of people. Shout out to the PC master race games out to, ya'll got some great Steam games out.

I really wish things were different. But at this point, I've moved on. Still love slumming here in DAMP BSN though, I totally love ya'll.

I really miss Mortiel, Penguin, And CrazyJoe though :(

I bet this idea is revised.  With absolutely nothing to back it up, I have a feeling that this mp is far less profitable so far than the ME3MP nice surprise of being very successful for BiowAreEA.  They will not continue this support if the cash is not there.

That's the thing.

At first EA thought: '' MEMP was epic! The people loved it! And cash, man the cash <3 :3 ''

But what EA didn't know is that alot of players wouldn't wait for all the bugs to be fixed, not without any new content. And men, there were some serious bugs at first.

Thing is, those people will not simply return because some bugs are fixed now. They had a bad experience, they think DAMP = bad.  Getting that mindset out of peoples head will be difficult as hell.

What BW should do now is to give us an epic DLC.

To which Bioware responds - "Oh yeah!? Multiplayer cares about you even less."

Why did they leave?
