Hey guys...

 

I'm getting more ctds since last patch. No error, game just closes.

Especially likely to crash just after the grp cleared the last stage. u_u

 

Anyone else experiencing this?

Not any more crashes, but not any fewer either. Given that I'm on a console, it's especially frustrating.

My experience has been the opposite, but I suspect that's often going to be the case in the PC community. I used to get quite a few CTD's before the last patch. It's gotten better since.

These are not really crashes. Crash should have event log entry on PC/Windows. The game just shuts down itself on its own. I presume, this is to prevent overloading of Microsoft servers with error reports. Also, no crash, no log, no nothing is nice. EA support is going to ask you whether you actually indeed had a ctd. Can you prove it? Do you have an event in the log? No? Ugh, sorry, that is very strange indeed. We'll look into it.

Also, probably not Bioware's fault as it might be drm- or engine-related and there is no easy way to fix it. But multiplayer seems to do this way more frequently than single player.

Provably it is a little more frequent now than it used to be. Playing open public games is pretty discouraging when you have a substantial chance of losing your spot and not come back.

I haven't had any increase in problems after the patch.

 

I think the game stability did improve when I changed to full screen windowed and reduced ambient occlusion to the lowest setting though.

I have been getting weird missing textures since last patch. Like the level doesn't load completely, but I can still move around.
