Hi - I'm trying to do the Ameridin quest on JoH and can't seem to find a way to get to what I think is the last beacon (the laser things with levers). I've tried running around both sides of the marker on the map and am always blocked by mountains and trees. Is there a trick to getting there?
I'm also having trouble meeting the girl at the Tevinter temple in the publication quest - again, same deal. Just can't find the path. Any have any clues?

You can get to the temple ruins easily from either direction. From the west there is a wooden walkway leading to the ruins from the Cliffside camp. From the east start from the Stone-Bear Hold, follow the path (first northwest, then northeast) up the mountain, past the northeastern astrarium and the Frozen ruins, and you will get to the temple. In the temple courtyard the are stairs leading down to where Colette is.
The western route from the Cliffside camp is quicker/easier.
Just a quick note to say thanks again. Found the marker and Haakon is toast.

I just went through that too. Almost ragequit. Lol It was definitely the Cliffside Camp that saved the day!
