Nah...
I think it would undercut the Solas reveal if every elf on your squad was one of the Creators. I think Sera is exactly as described...a city elf that was orphaned at a young age, and taken in by a human.

Well, it would be delightfully ironic, considering how much she hates "Elfy" things.

What if Sera is actually an insane aspect of the Maker?

As in she's required to wear a helmet, right?

Hunting the elven gods for sport does sound a little appropriate though.

It's interesting where the vid talks about how she can do stuff without remembering how. When Inky asks her how she learned archery, she says she just kinda picked it up. Despite that, she's on par with a pretty impressive cast of party members. I got some interesting banter today between Bull and Solas where Bull says Solas' style is impressive, and that the technique of people who are self-taught is usually clunky. Solas' technique wasn't, which Bull found strange. Of course, we know Solas is an elven god. Sera's technique doesn't seem to be clunky either, so where did she really get her training? There's something going on with her.

Sera shoots a bow. That isn't exactly rocket science. Just practice.
So no, there isn't anything even remotely special about Sera other than the smell of hypocrisy that keeps wafting off of her.

All I can say is if she turns out to be a different kind of "special" then the more obvious one, I'd not only be shocked but I'd have to call it horrible writing. She often screams of a desperate need for more character depth, but making her an old god isn't the route I'd go with her.
I believe her being a common elf is the only solid part of her characterization, and building on her past and delving in to realistic reasons why she's the way she is would be a more enjoyable way of continuing to round her out a bit. I feel like there are few really nice moments where she is almost sane and clever-those are the few moments where I really liked her-more of that would be nice.

Try hitting something moving with a bow. Not as easy as you think. And she the best archer in the series that's not a main character.
