Cass could be considered one but she is about as special as wynne if even less. You don't talk to her spirit its just there. Cass is still a human female like wynne. Shale is no longer a female dwarf she is a golem now. Anders is still human male but vengeance is very active. Justice is genderless but masculine. same like Cole who is on the verge of being human male. Solas is like a hidden special companion.

Cass should've had her own special tree with seeker abilities than the typical templar abilities unless being a Seeker she actually doesn't consume lyrium when using her powers which I never checked personally. But I get it, your 9 companions are the 9 different classes you can specialize in. They definitely need to explore the whole seeker initiation/backstory more and how they actually become what they are and how they came to a realization about using a spirit of faith. She's no mage yet she was made tranquil. I'd like another seeker companion.

 

I like how easily the DA Warden learns Wynne's special spirit healer abilities without Wynne's spirit and Morrigan's shapeshifting so easily. I believe Vivenne mentions there's not much literature on shapeshifters. I guess Morrigan trusted the Warden enough to reveal her arcane secrets beyond what she considers mundane knowledge of magic.

 

Need more secret "God" characters like Solas but with actual god-like abilities... none of this chain lightning or ice mine bs.

I'd settle for a mabari but I have a feeling that we might see Sandal in the next game as a companion. Who's more "special" than Sandal.

The Warden finds a cure for the taint called Purple Lyrium. After it is distributed everywhere in Thedas, it is banned after its use starts turning people into funny looking purple things (FuLoPuTs). But because the Fuloputs are immune to the darkspawn disease, they are conscripted into the service of the Inquisition, and you can select one to join your party.
