Circles... CIRCLES!
I couldn't quickly find an actual animated circle so I opted for the dots one...
Guess I need to go create one myself so I have one readily available.

And unfortunately you're going to need it xD

Sad but true.

Seeing as how Bioware will never bring the Warden back, I may as well have him die killing the Archdemon for all it matters.
Might as well, seeing as you'd get the same result.
The only difference between your ending and other people's endings is whatever's in their imagination.
Except for the differences between Origins' endings such as instead of being dead at their funeral, the Warden is alive and can discuss what to do with their companions, thus giving closure in person. It's not exactly the same result.
There is also differences in what happened with the Warden according to Inquisition with the common denominator only being that they are searching for a cure to the Calling. As an example, a Morrimancer has left their family to seek one but a Zevmancer seems to be implied to be searching alongside Zevran. I'm not exactly seeing how you can argue that the only difference is in whatever is in people's imaginations.
Bioware could always just have the Warden suffer an accident/spell/whatever that caused him to go permanently mute so he can only communicate via sign language (with on-screen subtitles) or a translator. That way Bioware doesn't have to worry about backlash in regards to the warden's voice.Since the warden is off on this potential dangerous quest for a cure to the taint, it provides opportunities for something to happen to him to **** up his voice/ability to speak.
...or, they could just leave the Warden alone.
I made a choice at the end of Origins to allow my Warden to make the Ultimate Sacrifice. I do not want them bringing my Warden back from the dead to satisfy people that can't let them go. They're not ignoring the Warden to spite the community. They're dropping them because they read the ME 3 forums, and the DA 2 forums, and, despite the rose colored glasses used here quite frequently, they read the Origins forums as well. Ultimately, they would have been better off not writing the DR.
So they can butcher him like they butchered my blood mage, aggressive and selfish Hawke?

Warden is the equivalent of Red from the Pokemon games. You don't suddenly make him/her start running his mouth.
yes 100% I would risk it. I would like to see my hero again even if they got the voice wrong. Just allow me to play him/her as nice, angry or humorous. I'm sure my HoF will be just fine.
Surprisingly I made a topic similar to this one an hour after you did in the suggestions forum. I didn't see this one. I'm only now starting to view the other forums.
Anyway, in my topic I wrote that I would be perfectly content with my Hero returning without voiced lines. If he has to be a silent protagonist in order to make an appearance, so be it.
I recreated him in Inquisition and I mute the TV whenever his lines come up, and... it works. I am fine with him being silent. I would still bring back the audio clips from Origins though, just to help hear the voice in my head when I read his lines. But yeah, I'd be okay with an unvoiced Hero.
Even so, voicing all the possible Heroes shouldn't be too difficult. Especially if the appearance is just for one mission, like Hawke's.
The Warden was a weird, mute, bug-eyed creep.
But even they would be put off by the insane obsession with them.
Also

I just don't care anymore.
I liked the voiced HOF from DAO/DAA. I especially loved the sarcastic male/female tracks as well as the very mature female or the burly male track.
I'd say I'd be fine with a voiced Warden cameo provided it isn't Jennifer Hale (Female Hawke).
The woman just doesn't ever change her voice, nor her tone. I find it jarring that both my Inquisitor and Hawke have identical voices because I'm not big on the US one... If they were to bring the warden back, even briefly, I'd prefer a different voice actress to represent her, just so that it sets her apart from constant "same-voice-every-game" acting.
Yeah you're right, I just looked up the casting and while the voices are samey, they're done by different people.
I think I'd say "better casting" in this case rather than singling out a voice actor (sorry Jennifer! 8D )
But seriously...a broader cast of voice actors would go a long way.
As NPC - no. Too many variations as it was said previously. Bioware can't play our characters for us, guess their personality and foresee decisions. And I just don't want to give my hero into other people's hands. If "bringing back" - only as a controlled character.
Eh if people are unsatisfied with their Hawke, I'd reckon it'd be 10x more difficult satisfying them with the GW.
Mine did do the ultimate sacrifice so I may be somewhat biased, but it's a hell no for me. I'd rather if there are any more dealings with the GW it'd be with objectively written letters.
Writing the DR was fine. They wouldn't have railroaded you into the US. You had another GW right there - it would be FO3 all over again.
The problem started with DAA when they caved on the HOF.
I want the HoF back so badly, and if they do decide to bring back a voiced HoF, I think what they should do is take the two (or at the very least one) most popular voice choices from each gender and use those voice actors, I mean we had an English and an American voice actor choice for DAI. Then they can make some of his/her personality based responses set up the same way Hawke's was.
Personally, I think they can spin the story in a really cool way. While the HoF was finding the cure, he/she came across some old magic, yada yada, somehow HoF lost/gave up speech in the search for the cure. Then they can go a bunch of different ways, the most obvious being have a man-servant speak for him/her.
It's Monday, sorry if this makes zero sense.
But honestly, what I really want is just closure. I don't care if it is a scene that I can't even control, I just want that end. Make it a side mission in DA4 that way, if your HoF is dead, you don't have to feel like Bioware ruined your game. Seriously, just have a mission where you're running through a mountain killing enemies and at the end, you get to see the HoF. Based on your choices the HoF succeeds and lives, succeeds and dies, or some other combo, but definitely a touching scene with their LI. This scene can be completely unvoiced and amazingly touching.

Sure, why not if they want to/can do it.
I'm not bothered about what voices they use to be honest. I played FF7, got their voices in my head only to realise they were totally different in Advent Children (Except Mr. T, that one was obvious). Didn't bother me in the slightest and very soon forgot they all used to be mutes.
