Unfortunately, Bioware never took that risk and we got stuck with a disproportional choice. To choose to sacrifice a former LI or an avatar is not the same thing. It doesn't offer the same thrill.

Every time I read one of these threads I wish the HoF was dead

I would be more than fine with this, if Bioware did decide to bring the Warden (or Orlesian WC, depending on the situation) back in person again. I don't need to play him again specifically, but I would love to see him again ![]()
I know threads like these are tough, with a character that has multiple states...alive, dead. Hawke is now in this situation too, and it can be difficult for the devs to navigate, not to mention the fans.

I'd like to see an issue or conflict that brings The Warden, Hawke and the Inquisitor into the mix and you can play as one of the three or a new hero. You can choose to import your inqus, Warden or Hawke and more or less play through the events after DA:I and the events leading up to the story of DA4. Sort of like the intro sequences that where in DA:O.

I wouldn't mind at all. I'd like to see what he/she's been up to for the last few years. I'd love a DLC where we find a cure for the calling for him so he can have his happy ending with his LI. Considering all the resources the Inquisition has, they could probably help with that...
Just saying. ![]()
When you say voiced character do you mean as a pc or npc? Npc wouldnt really be possible but as a pc it could be. Personally I wouldn't mind the HoF having a voice, I'd actually probably prefer it. I think it would be awkward if he was still mute and staring into ppls eyes silently. I know some ppl would get angry over it but the voice isn't a huge issue for me.
No because the only people that could possibly match the picture in my head of how my wardens would sound are dead.
I'm absolutely fine with it, and think the VAs should be
Male Human/Elf: Paul McGann
Female Human/Elf: Freema Agyeman
Male Dwarf: Michael Kopsa
Female Dwarf: Kirsten Wiliamson
I went lower key for the Dwarves cuz there's only gonna be like 10 imports with them =p

This is the song that never ends....
Yes give the warden a voice it will give some life to a guy that is a empty shell. But i understand if bioware do not bring him back because they know some people will start crying and make a big deal about it.
when Mike Laidlaw says he does not want pursue bringing the Warden/HoF back as a voiced character, I have no choice but to accept his decision. But that doesn't mean I will stop trying to change his mind.
It's in his right to argue in favor of a voiced HoF. As it's in anyone's right.
Don't disencourage him.
Either bring them back or kill them off. They've been teasing him for two games now.
Every time someone posts a Frozen gif, a puppy dies. Just letting you know.

Sure, but you can't reject someone's decision while claiming you've accepted it.
"Honey, this marriage is not working. We need a divorce."
"OK, I accept your decision. But I will never give you a divorce. Not ever."
It doesn't make any sense.
Don't disencourage him.
