Life gave me the biggest April fools day joke ever. Birthday is 7 days away and one of the most profound things in my life feels like it is now a forsaken leaf that has fallen on a forgotten pool.
Hilarious, life. Beating your dreams into the ground right in front of you while you sit there and do nothing. Because you can't do anything.

Last year I talked a co-worker into hitting my Chef with a banana cream pie in the face. He did it, while yelling "you're an April FOOL!"
We laughed and laughed.
He was so pissed. I was sure he would fire the guy. Nothing happened
