I was thinking about this today on how BW could incorporate qunari schematics.

Qunari facepaints.

Question: How could qunari facepaint be craftable.

.

-They would need to add around 19 new plants from tier1 to tier4 , I'm going off the "cloth" non-masterworks list on the DA wikki, to propagate the landscape that would be specifically for qunari facepaint only.

-Plants currently in the game behave with potions, grenades, and tonics. None of which you slap on your face as an armour beyond a temporary buff.

Possible solutions and possibly more problems:

-(Positive)If they made a qunari zone DLC and put them in there just for that area and nowhere else, and left out the other plants.

(negative)That wouldn't work because the player would get confused by these new plants only in this new area. If you put in the other plants then there is just way too many plants to deal with.

-(positive)They could plop down a qunari merchant who has the plants and the schematics? That might work as the patch(pun) of least resistance.

(negative)Then would lose the opportunity to find them in the wilds like everything else.

Question: How could Qunari headgear be possible.

(note)

You have all these horn variants and you have no horn variants so the only places you got to work with both horn and no-horn is the center front, center top, center back, and the sides of the skull.

Possible solutions and possibly more problems:

-(Positive and negative)If you have the holes for the horns that is fine, but the no-horn folks would look really stupid with the holes where the horns would be.

-Then could there be both sets of horn and no-horn schematics? Then game system would need to talk to your PC qunari and ask if you are horn or no horn every time.

-Or have the two styles side by side in two separate columns in inventory and in a merchant list.

Thoughts?

I could see the warpaint as a cosmetic behaving as head gear, like a drug or sav applied to the skin that gives some buff.  The horns falls directly into the headgear classification under Qunari only, with horns, while others fall under Qunari trained, no horns.

Only interested if they added some Qunari face paint that doesn't suck. I loved the design in da2, what we got in inquisition would be more fit for elves.

I'd also like the Inquisitor Helm to be an exception. It's the signature item of the game, and the qunari just can't use it. I'd have thought it'd be worth adding the graphics effort to it, but apparently not.
