We should be able to ally with Corypheus.

This again.

For every story based game out there you'll find fans complaining that they can't side with the villain. At this point, bringing up that idea isn't some great thing nobody's thought about before.

But no, that's almost the same as asking them to make two games into one. Too many changes and too much content to be made.

Story wise, siding with Corypheus might be interesting. But desirable? That's an overstatement. You've seen the results in Hushed Whispers.

So put it at the end of the game.

That might work at the end of the game if they weren't planning on having your decisions carry over into the next game.  Too many differences would mean they couldn't just toggle different world states.

No, it works perfectly. We have a scene of Corypheus murdering you for the anchor - maybe a brief anguished scream when he flays the skin off your bones through magic or something - and then a game over screen that talks about how the whole world fell to ruin.

Sure they can. DA4 is probably going to be in the north and Cory took over the south and we all know how the north don't give a rats ass about the south.

BioWare has already given you folks a game where you can side with the bad guys, it's called Darkspawn Chronicles. You can go play that right now! Complaining that you can't side with Coryphinus in a game dedicated to stopping him is rather trollish.

Who wants to team up with the Archdemon and his band of Darkspawn when you could have Corypheus and his mind controlled people? It's not about teaming up with bad guys, it's about giving ourselves to Coypheus' cause.

Which is never, never, never, never, never, never ever going to happen.

I would expect most people would have gotten tired of trolling this one at this point, guess I was wrong about that.  You just keep trumpeting about how you want something you will never ever get, and eventually the thread will get toxic enough to get closed. 194298.gif

Boy is this stupid.Yes, let's take the game's premise and stand it on it's head so that nothing makes sense. Wait...this isn't GTA?

Corypheus knows he can always win me over with a cup of Starbucks. He is just being a stingy hater.

Very, very few people. Certainly few enough people that the resources they will need to not spend on the "real" story so you can have your weird, anti-social personality disorder fan-fiction is just not worth it.

The developer's don't have infinite resources to cater to every whim or idea some random fan gets. I don't understand why people don't get that.

True. I just like stocking up on my What Ifs. You never know when a zombie outbreak might force you to live off of old feels and rudimentary daydreams.

You have a very negative outlook. You need more hope in your life. Tis a very empty existence to lead when things like "futility", should such concepts exist in truth, keep you from doing what you want in life.

We should also choose what we want our PC to eat for breakfast, because, you know, choices.

And your LI brings it to you in bed. With unlimited free refills of some sort of legal addictive stimulant. And Sera's cookies.

I'm not so sure that would work with Cassandra. She doesn't seem like the type to cook her own food. Assuming the LI is the one doing the cooking here, anyway.

She'd burn the water and melt the toast.

We have far too many hero's stories in games. It's far more fun to be evil! No moral boundaries opens more options which means more fun. Gamers are so boring.

Then go play something else, Dragon Age is very obviously not the type of game you are looking for. In every Dragon Age game you are the hero, you do get choices but they are choices that make sense in relation to the story Bioware want to tell and the lore of the world they have created. Your suggestion makes absolutely zero sense which is why no one is taking you seriously and why so many thought your post was an April Fool joke.
