Ive heard alot of different complaints abouit the new dlc. I agree with some of them and disagree with others.

My main complaint is that Bioware hasnt followed up on Tallis storyline.

Considering that Tallis is a beloved fanfavorite i feel that they should continue her story.

I especially need some closure on my Hawkes  romance with her.

 

It would be amazing if you could romance Tallis as the Inquisitor to. It would be a dream scenario to see a love triangle between talis, the inquisitor and hawke. If you left Hawke in the fade, his strong emotional connection to Tallis could bring him back to from the fade. He could come back as an awesome spirit-demon-hawke hybrid. Then the Inquisitor and Hawke would duel for Tallis, and the winner would get Tallis affections. But during the duel a new threat shows up, and then DemonHawke and Inquisitor have to join forces to defeat it. Maybe some sort of redlyrium infused high dragon who would be voiced by Jason Isaacs.

 

And after defeating the threat you could see the evil mind behind the the dragon. It would be a hooded figure with burned skin. And when she takjes off her hood it turns out to be ANDRASTE! Then cue to dragon age 4 where elvish Gods and Andrastian God will fight for power of the world. And the key to stopping that threat would lay inside Tallis mind.

Having been a regular participant in the forums since 2009, I have yet to see Tallis appreciated at the level that you are suggesting? I didn't dislike the character at all, but there are literally a dozen familiar franchise faves that I would much prefer to see return over Tallis.

 

Just my own personal short list alone includes: Sten, the Architect, Nathaniel, Bethany, Aveline, Merrill, and Dog and that's just the short list!

I didn't find her particularly interesting.  Felicia Day seems like a very nice girl but I find the gamer fetish for her exaggerated "kookiness" more annoying than anything.  But I generally detest anyone whose main selling point is how "quirky" they are.

But if your main complaint about a DLC is that it's not the DLC you specifically wanted, there's something wrong with you.  Complain about quality or price all you want (although preferably without self-righteous "anyone who bought this is a sheeple" bullcrap) but why on earth would you expect Bioware to only pursue your personal favorite whatever?  Silly.

2. Kal Sharok
3. A politically-focused quest with a properly done urban setting
4. An expedition beyond the Korcari Wilds featuring another one of Flemeth's daughters
5. Solas

I concur on deep roads exploration, but let the deep roads lead somewhere interesting where there is a significant and challenging conflict to be resolved. Something that requires Wardens.

You've got an interesting definition of "romance" if a single kiss is a relationship worthy of needing closure to you.

*Dark spawn DLC featuring the return of the Architect.
*Coronation of the new Divine, set in a new expanded Val Royeaux
*Exploration of the Mage prison island of Aeonar, after the Mage-Templar War
*Visiting Nevarra and meeting Cassandra's Mortalitasi uncle in the Necropolis

*Wolf Hunt (Eventually)

Agreed, I liked tallis and think Felicia Day did a good job voicing her, but if she never turns up again, I won't be overly disappointed

I would like to find out more about Solas because there are a lot of questions that need answers. Obviously the whole story cannot be covered in one DLC and probably it is set to be the main story in a future DA4. But at least we can get some clues, some tiny bits of information or something related to the main story, I don't know, maybe Solas speaking through Cole again...And if the DLC won't be about Solas, maybe about Abelas. Who are these people that yet linger and where are they? Or can we use the Eluvian from Skyhold with the help of Briala or Morrigan, combined with the power of the Well (if the Inquisitor drinks) and then travel to the Crossroads and find clues about where Solas could be. 

 

1. Something about the places and the people "that yet linger". 

2. Path of the Dread Wolf DLC (where we can find clues and information about him)

3. Solas DLC (when we finally meet him - with romance options included )

Coronation of the Divine. With a last-moment chance to save her from assassination... or let the assassination proceed unchecked. Too many potential problems later, though.

I would love to see Aveline return to expand on the mystery of her family's past as hinted at in MotA. Given that involves Orlais and Varric is already present, even post game, plus Aveline can't die in DA2... it is an all world states friendly base to build an episode from.

Item + Schematic Packs
Maybe this is done like DA2, sold by class. All new stuff for all races. Especially Qunari; would love something like the DA2 Qunari and how the Quizzy Character Creation tarot cards look.

DLC episodic content that uses established zones. Cut-scenes! Cinematic camera for major dialogue! eg. Bianca's quest reuses the Hinterlands deep roads, just opens a new zone via that door. So let's uncover more doors to other places. Maybe the hinterlands fortress that sits abandoned after it's quest has a door to a sprawling dungeon/cave system we never noticed. Give as reasons to revisit all these beautiful zones you've created, Bioware! :-)

The Deep Roads, Dwarves (preferably from Kal-Sharok), and Darkspawn for one DLC. A journey to Weisshaupt where we could learn more about the wardens, Hawke, and griffons for another DLC (maybe have whoever you romanced with Hawke show up at some point as well). And of course Solas.

 

And incorporating Aveline back into the story via dlc would be awesome

I was recently re listening to a blackwall convo when he started talking about the grand tourney of the free marches, I would love to go visit that in game. I always love arena battles and i know Jaws of Hakkon had a small scale one but basing the whole dlc around it and maybe some political intrigue mixed in, i think would be awesome.

Of course, there's no reason for Tallis to have that on hand any more... So there's no reason for her to return.

Two things, & two things only. More hair & beard options in the CC. More & different looking schimatics(especially for other races: mainly Qunari)

Story content doesn't interest me in the slightest. I just want more customization options.
