I have yet to complete this game because I have been waiting on Black Emporium. All of my current character's have been stopped at the quest with the Empress. I find myself unhappy with my characters looks...or something else happens and I restart and redo the same thing. Should I just buckle down with a fresh character and beat this game, or should I wait for the Black Emporium? Obviously this game has nice replay value for me but I don't think I will care about Black Emporium if I beat the game now.

We don't know for sure when BE will release so you might be waiting awhile. BE is more then just the mirror though so it'll have some use after you beat the game or even late game

The BE releases in early May.

If it is to be released early May as said above, that is still an entire month away, if you want to wait that's ultimately up to you, of course, especially if you think it'll be worth waiting. As it is, even if you decide to finish the game before Black Emporium is released, you can always start a new game and do things differently that time around. That way BE may still make a difference for you. 

 

If you decide to play before BE is released make sure to take your time so you don't make choices you'll come to regret later, and don't rush through creating your character, take your time until you're completely satisfied with your Inquisitors appearance!

Looks like I will wait until early may. Probably best due to wrapping up my finals for college anyways.. I need to find something to occupy my time until then though.  And true, imo Mass Effect is one of the greater brands. Great music, nice epic feel. Not sure why people didn't like Mass Effect 3... Was one of my favorites.
