Fixing broken DRM is fine by me.

 

I have my doubts about the remaster thing, because the data is stored on the servers so they really wouldn't need to change anything on the client-side, unless they were doing some REALLY bad coding or the remaster added a LOT of new stuff.

Bioware has a page in which they detail what each patch does--at least they kept it up through 1.05. I should at least have posted the link, or at least bookmarked it. Now I can't find it. Go figure.

I'd say nothing from the singleplayer campaign was changed in this patch. It was just fixes and maintenance for MP.

It's probably for the multiplayer, since the servers are still running.

Yup, that would be me. Really weird I received these, considering I did install MEHEM for a short period of time, but never finished a playthrough with it installed and never received these e-mails. Maybe something in the patch made them appear. But at least we know now that it wasn't anything April Fool's related

Why would they bother patching something that 3 yrs old?

3 years isn't even that long time.

Relic released a patch for their 10 years old game that completely reworked some systems.

RO2 is going to receive new content this summer, and it's a 4 years old game.

I'm consistently (although it is less frequently, maybe once a month) seeing updates to ME3.  I think all that they are fixing are some of the multiplayer bugs and nerfing/buffing certain weapons.

 

I'm not sure though.

 

I can guarantee this is not the case. All it would take to confirm this is a quick peek into the MP boards. If you're downloading updates every month, my guess is something in your system's cache is making it think it's not updated and is continually re-downloading the most recent patch.

Has nothing to do with mp maintenance as hours after having downloaded I disconnected with 3 others twice, had memory leak, and wfop screen. It was 25mb of ass.

Just got the update on ME3 Origin and now ME3 won't launch.  This is so freaking hilarious!  Did it send a killswitch or something?

Niniendo mine does that after every origin update, try repairing the main game and each of the dlcs, that does it for me.

I did eventually get it sorted on a reboot.  Not sure what happened there, but my copy of ME3 is always at odds with me.
