Hello! 

 

I'm curious as to where I can find good bows, both decent looking and with a fairly high DPS, above 110 if possible, I've crafted many bows already but none I'm too happy with - Blah, I always find it so difficult to locate any good weapons my character can use. 

 

Schematics for bows work, too, anything is great. Uhm, also, there was this bow I saw in quite a few pics on Tumblr, it had like dragon-type webbing(?) it was really neat, but I can't find the bow itself or the possible schematic. Does anyone by chance know of the location or at least the name of that particular bow?

 

Again, any help is most appreciated! 

 

 

One more thing: I already know there are a few merchants located in Redcliffe Village(?) that sell bows/daggers and armor specific to Rogues, so that's out of the question.

While you are still in Haven, the best bow schematic can be bought in Val Royeaux.

 

Once you get to Skyhold, the best bow schematics are in Hissing Wastes.

Other than that it random loot, still it's worth going to the store in hissing wastes ASAP if Archery is your thing.

If you don't want to rely on RNG, then the Tombs of Fairel has the Masterwork Spiked Bow.

The shop at Emprise du Lion sells grips for bows.

I'm rather partial to Perseverance, which is obtained in the Hissing Wastes, via an unmarked quest.

Perseverance (bow)

Perseverance is a unique bow in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Acquisition
In the Hissing Wastes you can find beings that resemble Chantry sisters, found in seemingly random places of the area. Speak to four of them (there are no dialogue options). The last one will make a comment about the Inquisitor finding them, saying, "Take this gift. Do not falter. In the absence of light, shadows thrive.", after which she mystically disappears, leaving behind some loot including the bow.

It is received with Master Frost Rune (+16 Cold Damage).

Just farm T3 schematics in the Cradle of Sulevin. You'll find plenty.

Or head indeed to the Hissing Wastes. You'll fine one for sure.
