Are you sure that was DAMP? Cause it sounds an awful lot like my experience playing Overlord.
Actually, the player base may still be bigger for ME3MP than DAMP.
A shame support lasted for one year only. My favorite mp....might play some this weekend.

For ME3, it meant DLC, patches, weekly detailed balance changes and weekend events.
They promised to "support" this longer than they did ME3, but by this time in ME3's life time, they'd doubled the amount of content available in terms of characters and maps (details here). We also never had repeat challenges during that time period.
The promise of extended support is the only reason I bought the game (I don't care about SP), so it's hard not to feel like I've been scammed.
We can't even get 3 new characters and a new map (which still isn't enough imo) here without any drama.

All this thread has accomplished is making me want to play ME3 MP again.

When you've defeated a dragon in single player and hit right on your D-pad to try and tell your team "Well done!"
When I fart and wait 5 hours for people to die.
My farts didn't get the buff.....
Going back to ME3 MP (PS3) and trying to press the touch pad mid match in order to kick some douche only to realise the PS3 controller doesn't have one.
Or thinking in ME3 MP that if you go down twice you can't be revived anymore.
