To be completely honest the first time I watched it, I didn't know who RuPaul was, so I thought it was going to be a show about drag racing. xD
How do you not know who RuPaul is?

That could be said about literally any thread. It's an off topic forum
Wow, so because I add two letters you feel the need to make fun of me. When exactly did this start? Did your parents not hug you enough as a child?

You got the game twisted but what else is new. Peons. This guy.
How do I downvote you for this?
I felt that way at Ep 1 and 2, but it's actually getting good. All the people I thought I would hate, I now live for.
Fame and the chickens in nature. OMG
Violet ...bringing Vivienne Leigh realness
Jaidynn's Bianca del Rio was ON POINT
We have controversial eliminations, and Ru is looking better than ever.
No, there's no Bianca this season--she can't be on every season, although I wish she could.
Ahem, but I am learning to love this season.
Ginger Minge...hullo?
Fame is winning me over with her weird chicken obsession, not going to lie. She's a mediocre queen (outside of her look, which is on point), but she's a charming lady.
The rest? Meh.
Ginger is good, but she's a little too much of a try-hard for me. She's funny though and when she wins (which I think she will), she'll have earned it.
Violet's looks are on point, but she has one of my least favorite personality types: the bitchy millennial who thinks that there are no consequences for the way that she acts. I am kind of living for her utter confusion on why no one wants to work with her. If she learns to play the game a bit, she'll be a contender. But I don't see Ru crowning a queen who is such a ******. She did that once with Tyra and it was pretty much universally panned. I don't see her doing it again (hence the likeability of the last winners).
Jaidynn's Bianca makeup was on point, but she didn't act like Bianca. She acted like Jaidynn (kind of ghetto and over the top), which isn't Bianca. Bianca was pure acidic, razor-tongued shade. I'm just not a fan of Jaidynn.
I love Katya. She's funny and very smart. The problem is that she's not really performing well in the challenges, so I suspect she'll be out soon. I also really like Max, but I can't figure out what's happening with her edit. She has a chance, I guess, but I can't tell what Ru thinks of her.
At this point, my gut for the F3 is: Ginger, Violet, and........Max? Pearl? Kennedy? I'll be perfectly fine with a Ginger win. But I won't be living for it the way that I did for Raja, Sharon, and Bianca.

Hey guy & gals, since we've never had a RPDR topic here in BSN before why don't we list our favorite queens from each season, say personal top 5? I'll go first.
Season 1 (The forgotten season lol)
Season 2
Season 3
Season 4
All-Stars
Season 5
Season 6
Season 7

Seriously, if you are not interested in the topic then why the heck are you even on this thread?
I would suggest ignoring (literally) and otherwise paying the little earmites no heed as it's more or less their mission in life to derail and spam threads that aren't about LPs, Zombie T, Teh Bunz, or any odd combination thereof.
Bianca del Rio will forever be my favourite Snark Queen.

Okay; in no particular order:
Season 3 (I started watching on the Snatch Game episode, I think; I honestly don't remember most of the queens; maybe it's just me or they were too forgettable)
Season 4
All-Stars (Chad Michaels didn't deserve to win, cough cough)
Season 5
Season 6
Season 7
My favorite performance from a RPDR alum. I was there to see it live! So damn funny, but it might be because I'm old enough to remember Mannequin.

Speaking of looking cheap, I think some queens on current and past seasons of the show are instructed to hold-back, in order to make their inevitable elimination from Drag Race more believable. I know that the show is at least 70-80% staged.
Yeah, I remember back in Season 4 when Willam was making the rounds after the season ended and she said that she got scolded by Ru at one point when the cameras were off for "going off script". I think it's safe to say that Ru goes into a season with a vague idea of how she wants the season to go (with a handful of queens being the 'chosen ones' with a chance to win). As the queens interact, the narrative changes a bit (such as the Heathers/Boogers, Phi Phi/Sharon, Rolaskatox/Jinkx rivalries or Trinity's and Adore's blossoming throughout the season), but I think Ru still has an idea during filming of what she wants to see for any given episode. She's crazy smart, so it doesn't surprise me that she can think so far ahead and factor in so many variables and still come up with an amazing show. I'd feel bad for the queens who have zero chance to win (like Akasha, India Ferra, Alisa Summers, and Sasha Belle), but just getting on the show means that they can increase their booking fee substantially, so I guess they all win in the long run.

I think that they pick from all types of drag for the fans, but they prefer a certain type each season. I also think that usually Ru is right on with the choices (although sometimes at the time I didn't) and I also think she has a soft spot for certain types of queens because they remind him of himself back in the day. Raja, Chad, and Bianca had to win because Ru also respect people who put in the time on drag.
It was almost unfair for the other queens on those seasons when Raja and Bianca were on, but they did shove Courtney in there to give Bianca a run for his money.

I always find the obvious fodder queens to be interesting. Did Sasha Belle really, really actually think that she was going win? Really? Really!?!?! I just can't believe it. There's always a few of them every season. Like India Ferra? And Alisa Summers? Even the ones who end up doing better than initially expected, like Jiggly. DId Jiggly really think she had what it takes?
What do they think when when they get there and see the likes of Raja, Sharon, Chad, Bianca, Courtney, etc.?

Looking forward to the episode tonight. Next week should be the Snatch Game. I'm wondering what the queens have in mind. The only choice that was ever obvious was Chad Michaels as Cher.
