Okay, I'm sorry, but I have no idea what the HELL Michelle was talking about. I was LIVING for Jaidynn's look. I LOVED it.
And honestly, Kandy should've left a while ago.

Yeah, I'm thrilled that Kandy is gone. She's a mess. I can't believe she contoured a beard on again. She needs to understand that club lighting and camera lighting is different.
Katya continues to be my favorite. Well deserved win, in my opinion.
I'd take Merle over Michelle as perma-judge any day of the week.
I have now joined the ranks of Drag Race watchers. Just marathoned all of this season, and I've fallen in love with show.
Absolutely loving Max, but would love to take a shotgun to Violet's face.

I loved how Michelle was looking at her throughout the entire episode.

I think EP6 was Max's best look so far (they've all been great) but she was truly channeling 1930's starlet. Glad Kandy's gone, like really she's verging on 30 and wants to act like 40 is old when there are queens 10 years younger than her on the show who are on a whole other level.

Yeah I really don't like how Michelle's grilling her for the grey hair thing. Technically we've seen her with different colored wigs on, lol. Grey wigs are her thing. Kelly Mantel's is the type of wig she wears, Bianca's is her make up, Courtney's is her blonde-ness, Violet's is her cinched waist, Manila's was her fan (I still remember that time she went on the runway without a fan and the judges were like "where's your fan?"). Some queens just have something that they basically always do.

This. Max might wear grey every time, but it's not like her looks in general are all the same. I think grey might stand out more as a schtick because not too many queens do it, unlike some in the competition who will always wear blonde/brown hair. And Max's look this week TOTALLY fit the grey hair, so I dunno why Michelle's giving her crap for not doing something different this week in particular. She has more opportunities coming, just chill a little.
That being said, Max is my favourite this season and can do no wrong in my eyes. I hope she takes the crown, and the look she gave this week just cemented that. It was killer.
I was totally rooting for Ginger until she started bringing the claws out in Untucked. Her and Kennedy. Let's be real, Kennedy has no business reading Pearl and Max when she looks like a chicken that's been pulled out a dumpster (along with Jade Jolie's hair outfit from season 5). It's honestly hard to watch the two of them go at it when their critiques are so baseless, it just comes across as sad bitterness. I hope Kennedy is the next one to be eliminated, tbh.

Are we sure Kennedy wasn't a chicken? She looked like a chicken.
Oh, and another good example: Yara and her hair.

According to Kennedy in Untucked, she's a hooker who got killed and set on fire, but she crystallized in the fire, thus the crystals all over her face. Yeah, I don't know either.

Nah. It was a chicken.

That's such a BS story. She's clearly a chicken-showgirl who got stabbed in the back by the rival showgirl and pushed down the stairs and broke her head, at least that would've been a better backstory.

I am so looking forward to the snatch game. I'm guessing Ginger and Katya will do good, and I'm imagine Violet is going to have the most trouble.

ELU! You don't watch RPDR? You totally need to go back and watch the first 6 seasons (7, if you include the all-stars "season", but it was a bit of a dud). Seasons 3, 4, 5, & 6 were killer.

I can't wait to see what Ginger and Katya do with Snatch Game. Based on the preview, it looks like Violet and Fame are both going to do Donatella Versace. I'll be interested in seeing how they do with that. She's a big personality, but I pretty much think only of Maya Rudolph's impression of Donatella whenever I think of her. I think that Kennedy, Fame, Violet, and Pearl all have potential to be train wrecks. I think Max will be fine, but I'm nervous for her because she's doing Sharon Needles and that seems......off somehow to me. Snatch Game is my favorite episode of every season. That and the "Library is Open" reading mini-challenge, which should be showing up in another two episodes or so.

She's doing Sharon? Wow. I didn't get a glimpse at the name. I just saw the orange wig. Lady Bunny is one thing but Sharon Needles seems kind of risky, especially since she's the kind of person you can't really make funny. I mean she can be funny, but I don't really see how you can parody her in a funny way.

I am actually marathoning the hell out of Season 6 and I am absolutely in love with Bianca. She is unbelievably perfect!
I feel I'm ignoring my LGBT heritage by not watching this show.

Don't feel bad. I went a long time without ever watching. It's just a very good show. You would probably enjoy it!

Yeah, it's why it just feels off. I feel like Sharon's public image is mostly her doing other characters. "Sharon" isn't a big personality, so I'm not sure what Max is going to do with that. I'm sure she'll be fine because she's smart, but I'm a bit worried for her.
Frankly, best case scenario in my opinion would be Katya winning the challenge and a Violet/Jaidynn B2, with Violet going home. That being said? No way that's happening!

Bianca is perfection. There have been like 80 queens on the show and not a one matches Bianca. That ****** is everything. (Of course, that's hyperbole because there have been dozens of awesome queens -- including Sharon) I'm glad that you like Bianca because that's a requirement for my friends. I love Adore too. She was a sloppy mess but so damned likeable. And Dela is my type of gal too.
I feel I'm ignoring my LGBT heritage by not watching this show.
Nah, but it is an awesome show. Plus, there's so much seeping into gay vernacular from this show, it's worth watching just so you can understand what these young whippersnappers are saying anyway.

It's not necessary but if you can watch "Paris is Burning", it's vintage but sheds some light on a lot of what the queens do & say.

You disagree?

I first saw Paris is Burning about 15 years ago and watched it again last year. I forgot how many things that are attributed to Ru are actually from that movie. RIP Venus Extravaganza!
Seriously, if anyone hasn't seen it, you should go out and see it NOW. It should be required viewing for everyone, but especially for LGBT folks.

I thought it was interesting how only *some* of Paris actually focused on drag, the rest was just people dressing up for competitions, which I guess as Ru says the rest is drag.

Well...sh*t. I have to recant that actually. I really did not like her at all, but I just made it to episode 11, when she won the jewel challenge. And I was surprised to find myself really happy for her.
I wasn't a fan of Adore my first watch, but once she ditched Laganja (PS, you need to watch Untucked if you haven't; it shows such much more of their personalities) and started being mentored by Bianca, she turned around for me. And on my second viewing of the season, I started appreciating her from the beginning. She's a good egg, that kid.
