I wasn't a fan of Adore my first watch, but once she ditched Laganja (PS, you need to watch Untucked if you haven't; it shows such much more of their personalities) and started being mentored by Bianca, she turned around for me.  And on my second viewing of the season, I started appreciating her from the beginning.  She's a good egg, that kid. 

Oh yeah, I'm definitely not a fan of Laganja. And I have been watching Untucked a lot.

 

Also...I think I am actually in love with Bianca. That woman can do no wrong!

Well that was certainly an odd episode. 

 

This is a weird season.  I can't get my head wrapped around it.  It seems so odd to bring someone back this season, let alone to bring her back at F7.  Random.

Snatch Game was mediocre, but not awful.  Katya, Ginger, Kennedy, Violet, and Pearl were all serviceable.  The only real duds were Max and Fame and Jaidynn after the first Raven Symone "psychic" joke.

Katya's definitely the only one that I give a **** about this season.  I have a sinking feeling that she's getting set up for a F5 or F4 send-off, though. 

Not upset at all to see Max go home.  I think she's smart, unique, and seems like a lovely person; but I ain't got time for a prissy drag queen.  I want dick jokes from my drag queens and Max just can't deliver that.  Plus, as much as I find her annoying and very limited, Jaidynn was on point in that Michel'le lip sync.

Not sure who's going to come back.  My gut would also be Trixie, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Max come right back in.  Unpopular opinion:  I wouldn't mind seeing Tempest come back.  We need more old school Coco Peru style drag on this show and I think Tempest got sent home too soon.  She'd never win, but I'd love to see what else she could bring.

Well, that episode was hard to watch. As a huge fan of Max, seeing her miss the mark so hard was awful, but she really did deserve to go home this week (What the **** even was that Sharon Needles? Could she not at least make one joke that was funny?). I still hope she'll be the one coming back but I'll try to keep my expectations down. I'll be now rooting for either Katya or Pearl to take it home.

 

If Max doesn't come back, I'm kinda also feeling like seeing more of Tempest! I know a lot of people want to see Trixie but personally I never liked her much. Tempest went home in the first and only fashion challenge but I feel like she could do well in an acting/comedy challenge, being as camp as she is. 

 

I have a feeling that all of the eliminated queens will be coming back next episode to compete for the returning spot. Ru's message in the episode preview definitely made it seem like that. Here's hoping! It'd be great to see all of them work on one more challenge, even if not all will be staying.

They didn't show anything from the main challenge in the preview, probably to keep the identity of the returnng queen(s?) a secret until the episode comes out.

Trixie and Katya are both gone. Why am I even watching anymore?

I have to say that, while I liked Trixie at first, I found her insufferable when she returned.  She seemed a little too full of herself for a "4th out" girl.  I wasn't sorry to see her leave.  I think one-on-one she's probably funny.  And I think she's got a smart humor that some of the other queens don't have.  But I don't think it ever really translated.  The only times that she ever really made me laugh was when she was the drunk stewardess on Glamazonian Airways and when she did the 'ugly pagent sister' with Pearl.  Everything else she did kind of fell flat for me.

 

Katya, on the other hand, is a real loss.  She was so funny and smart but she just lacked self-confidence.  I imagine that, in real life, she'd be annoying to hang out with, but on the show?  She was awesome and gave great talking head interviews.  I really hope that she wins Miss Congeniality.

 

I still think it's Ginger's season to win, but I can easily see Violet pulling out a surprise win given her redemption edit and strong late-game performances.  She can be annoying as ****, but her looks are on point.  She just can't act for ****.

 

Kennedy and  Pearl are battling for 3rd and 4th place, as I see it.  One of them goes out the next episode and the other one is the irrelevant gal in the finale. 

 

My hubby and I just bought tickets to the live finale, which is being held in NYC this year.  They were only $40 each, but they are standing room only, so I suspect it's going to be chaos.  We might just stay home and watch it on tv (we're too old for that **** now..... )

I was surprised Kennedy left, but I wasn't disappointed. Her acting was mediocre, I wasn't feeling the music video look, and that speech, to quote Kennedy, was "unprofessional." I realize Ru asked why they should be the next drag superstar instead of the others, but that was shady and untrue. Being young automatically means you're unqualified? Nuh uh, next please.
