Hello everyone,

I wonder is there still any possibility to buy the Pinnacle Station DLC??? it's the only one missing in my collection, but there doesn't seem a possibility to get it nomore?

can't they just add it to the store again? it's almost like BW/EA is refusing to take my money...

Bioware?? anyone??

Try contacting EA support and asking for a code. That's what I did a few years ago.

Seems like they took it from their Origin catalogue.

The only way I see to get Pinnacle Station is the ME Trilogy on Origin, that one comes with Pinnacle Station, so if you don't already own the other ME games, it might be worth thinking about.

Otherwise, try asking EA support very politely (don't forget your puppy eyes!) for it.

For PC, if you have a digital download from Origin then you should get both DLC for free.

If you have an older installation from physical media (or an early EA download) only BDtS is available as a free download; however you can get a Origin digital copy of your game (which includes the DLC).

The DLC download only applies to the earlier installations.
You can find it at:
http://help.ea.com/e...dlc-redemption/
and you no longer need a code.

Pinnacle station does not appear to be available for early installations.

You can tell if you have an early install by looking under the Program Files directory:  if the game is installed below Electronic Arts then its an early installation; if installed under Origin Games then its an Origin download.

You can redeem the serial number of a physical copy in Origin by introducing it in "Origin->Redeem product code" and it will grant you a digital copy. It should work with a steam serial number too...
You can view the number in the ME configurator - the configurator is found under Program Files\Origin Games (or Electronic Arts) \binaries).

If you do get a Origin copy along side your early installation, ME will appear in your library twice!  (Hide one, if you like).  As saved games are under yet another directory, your games are ready to play, no matter what version you launch (although if a saved game has Pinnacle Station and the launched game version doesn't have it installed, that game version cant use the saved game).

I can confirm that.

I bought ME 1 from Steam a while ago and because they wanted to "control and sell everything" i wanted to register it on Origin aswell. So while boycotting Steam i wanted to play ME 1 and when i downloaded it from Origin i had all DLCs.

TLDR: Register at Origin and download from there.

Hi!

I also have a hard copy of ME1 from the good times where Origin didn't exist. I was wondering as well if there is any way to get Pinnacle Station. I don't understand why BDtS is free while it seems that we still have to pay 5 € now, when I paid the same money for the game itself.

If you find a solution, I'd be happy to know it as well! Good luck!

First off you not missing much, IMHO Pinnacle Station is the worst Mass Effect DLC of the trilogy.

Second-If you got an Xbox 360 you can get the thing by buying the Platinum Editions 2-disc special edition of Mass Effect if you can find it I THINK it's on disc but don't hold me to that. That might be the only way to get it on Xbox 360 (although it might still be on the Xbox Marketplace but again don't hold me to it).

I would imagine that someone has a way to get it on the PC,

On the PS3 you can pretty much forget it.

I recall reading somewhere that the reason it wasn't released on the PS3 and taken off of Origin is that code used to make the DLC was so corrupted that it's beyond repair and chances are it will never be released again on any platform. I read that some time ago and might be wrong.

You can redeem your retail copy for a free digital download from Origin (PC games only). See my post above...
The download will contain both BDtS and Pinnacle Station.

I tried to redeem the code from Origin but it says it is not valid.

I hope you found your product code with the ME configurator?
But this has happened too often to too many people... and that includes me!

You'll have to contact EA Help: they 'fixed' the issue for me...
I hope it go goes well :)

It is Bring Down the Sky that is on the second disc of the Platinum Edition.

Yes, the code in ME configurator is the same as the one in the hard copy. So, I just have to contact EA help and ask if I can redeem ME1 and its DLCs on Origin?

You only need to redeem the game. Both DLCs are already included.

Contacting EA help is easy, but sometimes it is difficult to get a resolution..
If you're unlucky it may take more than one contact (sigh)
But all they should require is your product key.

Once redeemed you'll have the rights to the digital download copy of ME. The DLC are included in the game download: they are not separate downloads.
After the download and installation, you could use the ME configurator to see the game and the 2 DLC (three product codes will be present).

I've always had a positive result from EA Support. My copy of Mass Effect is from when it was first released on PC. After somehow using up all my activations I contacted them, provided my key, and they gave me more activations. Quite surprised to be honest as I bought it from an ebay store and it turned out to be a copy from Thailand, so I shouldn't have had it here in the UK.

Give EA Support a chance, the only thing you'll lose is a little time.

I second this about EA support.  They really are way better than I thought they would be.  In fact, I'd rate them at about 95%

Yes, they replied in a couple of days. The code is not enough, but they asked me to send a picture of the disc with its case and a picture of the original receipt with the price and the date. The only problem is that I bought the game at least 3 years ago, so I obviously didn't keep the receipt.

I guess I will just drop the idea of playing Pinnacle Station, but I'm quite disappointed. Well, at least BDtS is working fine.

I thought that you could get the DLCs for free now.  Pinnacle Station is not a big deal, but if you are going for the full experience it would be nice to have.  The store in your apartment is amazing and you can get Geth Pulse Rifles with 3 mod slots just like the SPECTRE gear.

For those playing the game(you just lost) on Xbox one, are you receiving an unable to update error when prompted to update mass effect on Xbox one? It ends up being pinnacle station that doesn't update despite my console going "hey bro, this dlc needs an update" "oh dang, can't update it weird"

You might try EA again and be very polite.  Sometimes it depends on the personality of the person you contact at EA.  They will sometimes be willing to do you a favor. Did I say be very polite?  Grovel actually.   It is really not reasonable to expect someone to hang on to a game receipt for three years.  Also you might just want to bite the bullet and get the trilogy from Origin.
