I will try to contact EA support on chat, as they suggested in the e-mail.

I already have ME2 and ME3 plus all the DLC (except for alternative appearances). I only tried to see if I could get the last DLC I'm missing, considering that the game is very old I thought they might give it for free like BDtS.

I just finished another run with my super renegade female Infilitrator! I can't wait to see if she's going to stay renegade or if she will soften up a bit.

First off you not missing much, IMHO Pinnacle Station is the worst Mass Effect DLC of the trilogy.

I think it's fun and fairly challenging (on Insanity).  I have played it and beaten all of it every playthrough (4 times).  It's similar to the Armax Arsenal Arena in ME3.  I also always go to the apartment afterward and twink myself out in all the best gear before heading to endgame.  It's cool to have everyone in matching armor with best-in-slot in every slot.

The officer at Pinnacle has some pretty funny lines...

Watch it, Shepard!  There's no award for how many times you get shot!

Only if you go in at a really low level.

I've played survival missions on it, around level 45, on Insanity where I could stop doing anything and my squad would keep the match going for quite a long time.

The only time the DLC is a challenge are those missions where you have to get a certain number of kills, I forget the type I confess, and that is only because the enemies are so spread out you are lucky to find one before the limit is up.

PS sucks, it's like a shooting gallery of the worst kind.

I like Pinnacle Station. It is fun sometimes. Sort of proto-ME3 Multiplayer gameplay (Capture=Hacking, Time Trial/Hunt=Assassinations and Survival=basic waves). The only annoying thing is that organic holograms spawn all over the place and charge in your face instead of spawning in the distance and advancing strategically like geth holograms.

Don't overbid, and don't underestimate the importance of melding.

Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you said Pinochle Station.

For PC, if you have a digital download from Origin then you should get both DLC for free.

If you have an older installation from physical media (or an early EA download) only BDtS is available as a free download; however you can get a Origin digital copy of your game (which includes the DLC).

The DLC download only applies to the earlier installations.
You can find it at:
http://help.ea.com/e...dlc-redemption/
and you no longer need a code.

Pinnacle station does not appear to be available for early installations.

You can tell if you have an early install by looking under the Program Files directory:  if the game is installed below Electronic Arts then its an early installation; if installed under Origin Games then its an Origin download.

You can redeem the serial number of a physical copy in Origin by introducing it in "Origin->Redeem product code" and it will grant you a digital copy. It should work with a steam serial number too...
You can view the number in the ME configurator - the configurator is found under Program Files\Origin Games (or Electronic Arts) \binaries).

If you do get a Origin copy along side your early installation, ME will appear in your library twice!  (Hide one, if you like).  As saved games are under yet another directory, your games are ready to play, no matter what version you launch (although if a saved game has Pinnacle Station and the launched game version doesn't have it installed, that game version cant use the saved game).

First off I would like to thank you kind sir for providing this information. I own Mass Effect's 1 and 2 (digital deluxe version at that) on Steam and now own both on Origin. I have had problems with Origin in ye-olden times but now a days I am liking and respecting it more than Steam, mostly from some rather...... interesting let's call it business practices. So being able to play these old games of mine on either service, without having to pay twice for the same version of a game, for me is quite a wonderful thing. Good thing I didn't get too far in my Steam save I made a day or two ago, literally I am still on Eden Prime with Alenko.

Did BioWare say why Pinnacle Station wasn't available for PS3?

This may not help, but I went through this issue awhile back, and found this post, and instantly I had both of those DLC's

Here is the post I found

****************************

Disclamer: This is for Win7 users (and I would assume Win8, though I don't know about that) only!

It looks like no one's addressed this, so if it has been, I apologise.

Okay... just to start things off real simply... IF YOU HAVE ORIGIN, YOU DO NOT NEED TO DOWNLOAD ANY DLC! PERIOD!!!

Heh, sorry for the shouting, but I dare say I have your attention. If you bought or registered your Steam version on Origin then all the DLC should already be bundled in with the game. All you need to do is go to [C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Mass Effect\Binaries] and edit [MassEffect]'s compatability settings to [Win. XP SP2]. Run the game, and check your DLC. Both [Pinnicle Station] and [BDtS] should show up. Additionally, I'm running the game as the Administrator, so if it doesn't show up with the previous step, then do that as well.

Cheers!

This post got both of the DLC's working for me instantly. PC version, I can not say for others

<<<EDIT>>> Also I don't play on my Xbox anymore, but I remember something about having a real problem installing both [Pinnicle Station] and [ Bring down the sky ]

I forget what the problem was, but I do remember it was a real pain to get them both installed at the same time. seems like had to do a complete un install, and re install, and install them in a certain order.  It has been way to long, but I bet a google would find the problem.
