I could have been more clear. There has been quite a few Dwarven couples, but not one that I would call a true PC romance, in that it's given the same time and development as most of the romances.

Basically, I'm saying that if a Dagna romance happened, I would probably pursue it with another Dwarf.  :)

At this point, though, I focus more on just hoping we see her again at all. That would be enough for me.

Well, if we go to Tevinter she can always be there bettering her knowledge for the Inquisition. Whether it is a cameo or something more I can't say.

Ah, Dagna. Someone who deserve a paragon status, but the Assembly decide to considering endorse someone who accidently unleash clusterfuck and made a crossbow for her bf alone instead. *still bitter*

Why not give it to both of them

Perhaps the inquisition could "accidentally" leak Bianca's involvement with the whole red lyrium mess to Orzamma? That coud ruin her reputation lol.

If only there was an option to leak that information or judging her, or hell even execute her. Imagine the drama between the Inquisitor and Varric. Your duty and what's right or friendship. Sadly, BioWare loves this new mary sue so much, but I think that enough about Bianca. Let's go back to the cherry and sweet Dagna. Hopefully the Inquisition could at least put her name forward to be another candidate, and let's hope those nug humper in the Assembly change their mind.  ;)

If Dagna was a romance in the next game, I would totally romance her with a qunari, just so she could ride around on my shoulders and be adorable.

What can I say I like crackships especially. :P

Anyway, I'm glad to see Dagna appeared in Inquisition, I always had a soft spot for her and always helped her get to the Circle in Origins.

She, Varric, Harding, (and Sandal  especially ) would be a must have dwarf LI for me.

They already got it though. They're not being considered for Paragon, they've already achieved it.

That's a lot of new Paragons within a relatively short span isn't it? How often are Dwarves named Paragon?

Edit: I mean, what tends to be the average rate at which Paragons are named.

Wasn't it based on doing something innovative?

It depends. Based entirely on the list of Paragons we have now, some Ages had a few Dwarves be named Paragon within the span of a couple generations, while others would be named centuries after the others.

Also, when the Dwarven kingdoms were more extensive, each Great Thaig had its own Paragons (that may or may not have been respected amongst the other Great Thaigs). Kal-Sharok refuses to recognize Orzammarian Paragons, and vice-versa.

So it's entirely possible for Orzammar to have five Paragons thus far (counting Branka). Six if we want to include Harding because she's the bee's knees :P. Of course, the only other name being touted in the official game canon is Bianca.

Cadash, Harding, and Dagna would be purely headcanon for other folks.

Like I said. It's entirely possible. Whether it's probable is another matter. Dwarves may even nominate other Dwarves to be able to found a new house, but only as a means to show the honor in the nomination and not to have it actually pass (see Gorim Saelac's talk of his House history).

I know. I was mentioning them as another example of a Surfacer who was deemed worthy of being considered a Paragon.

Well, Branka was the first Paragon in generations.

Well, Branka was the first Paragon in generations.

Indeed.

Sadly the game tells us that she didn't last more then six months as a noble before she set off for the Deep Roads in 9:28 Dragon, while World of Thedas wishes us to believe she was named a Paragon in 9:10 Dragon (but this would've made her a noble for 18-19 years before she set off).

I wish Bioware could keep their lore together...

Dagna is accomplishing more things on the surface than she could had ever dream of doing down in Orzammar. She doesn't need to be considered for a Paragon.

True. She's splendid.

And I would think her being named a Paragon would only irritate her father more. I think she'd take a reconciliation with him over receiving that honor any day.

I pride myself on my thorough and studious nature of Dwarves and their lore! ^_^

Dagna is accomplishing more things on the surface than she could had ever dream of doing down in Orzammar. She doesn't need to be considered for a Paragon.

She wouldn't need to head back to Orzammar. But if she was named, her entire House would be raised to nobility, her caste would be a thing her father wouldn't have to concern herself with anymore.

What Dagna's doing is definitely Paragon material. She's established a union between Orzammar and the Mages of the current era in White-Chantry Thedas, whereas prior to this the Dwarves had only a partnership with Tevinter.

This means a greater amount of trade might go on between the Circle and Orzammar. More coin for the Dwarves. Mages would flock to there to understand lyrium better, perhaps to work in concert with the Dwarves. Orzammar would be better equipped to contend with Demons, which though rare in the Deep Roads still happen (Abominations even flee underground sometimes).

There should be a DLC where you get to choose an NPC/antagonist/whoever to go on a mission, get something done and have the option to romance him (like with Tallis) several times over.

It doesn't have to end in marriage, they might die/depart/disappear in the end, but at least give-us-a-taste-of-it
