Everyone looks forward to returning characters and when that character isn't available as a Li in your preferred play style it's a disappointment, when they have some sort of history with the gender you prefer to play chances are, if they end up a Li they will be available to your preferred gender.
I think I follow you. If I'm right, that reminds me of my concern with a Harding romance in a future game. It won't be with the Inquisitor, but someone new. I think most people who tried her flirting route in DAI will resent that.

When the Inquisitor says goodbye to Dagna after one of their talks, their tone defaulted as reproachful. My character pretty much told her to to quell her enthusiasm and settle down.
I would have preferred an option to indulge her. We've had that available to us with Tali and Merrill in the past.
