I'm thinking about getting this new dlc,

I wonder should I start that with after-ending character or before-ending character.

 

I thought I try this with before-ending save file at first, because I kinda like having Solas with me.

But if there are any ending related story, I'd better start with after-ending save file, right?

 

Can anyone help me with this?

It's stand alone, story wise. I would suggest pre-ending that way you have all of your companions available.
