I was playing this mission on Insanity, and when I was fighting the Atlas boss it regenerated its own armor when it get close to the hangar doors. Did anyone ever noticed that? Maybe there were some pylons nearby. Do you guys think the pylon would regenerate its armor?

There was probably an engineer behind it, fixing it. That's pretty much the only reason I can think of.

I think Mordokai is right.

 

There's always an Engineer that spawns with the Atlas up near the landing pad. Maybe he was still alive.

 

Always take out the Engineers and Pylons first.

 

Or [To quote South Park]  "ya' gonna' have a bad time".

Thanks for your reply. I didn't know the Engineers could fix the Atlas. I'm sure to deal him first before attacking the heavy mech.
