So my query is this, and I hope someone can answer it becaues its driving me batty. If one persuades Calpernia to turn on Corypheus, Calpernia leaves unharmed and says she goes to confront her 'master'. My question is, is there anything to indicate she survives said encounter? Is there any elaboration on her fate after the confrontation by the well in the Temple?
What happened to Calpernia?

I don't think so.
Edit:
I had the same thing happen. I don't remember any mention of what happens but then I didn't check codex entries. If any mention of what happened afterwards is in the game, I'd check there.

Well, the DA Keep's tiles are rather ambiguous as to her fate, never really giving a definite "Ya she dead." mention. So that's something, at least.
But the game itself, yeah it doesn't mention anything OP. Not that I recall anyway.

Keep has been updated with DA:I stuff? Huh. Didn't know this.

I think she will return in the next game
If it's going north to Tevinter like some suspect, I fully expect to see her again. Unless she died... BioWare, please don't retcon more stuff.

I think they left it open to let them be flexible with what to do with her in the future. I'd reckon they'd like to use her again in the future, but if resources don't allow it (due to the fact that her presence is variable) they'll simply say she died in her encounter with Corypheus.

They could pull a Leliana... just, "nope, Calpernia didn't die - you must have used some bad juju."

Leliana is the writer's pet. Calpernia isn't.

Calpernia never definitly dies.
If you show her evidence that Cory wants to control her, she goes to confront him.
If you fight her, she jumps off a cliff rather than face defeat, so there is a slight chance of her survival.
If you ally with the mages, she is never referenced.

I didn't know that. Haven't fought her. All I can say is:

I thought Calpernia was great, but wish there had been more of her. More back-story. More interaction. More something.
I released her in the end, and kept thinking I might get an update, or see her in the final battle, maybe get a War Table mission involving her. But nope, nothing. I hope that's not the end of her.
P.S. I want her armor.

Were I a betting man, I'd say that she will return in the next game and be a companion and LI.

I want to see her and Leliana get into a fight. What a fight that would be especially if Leliana is hardened to the core!

Ooh, and it could take place in Tevinter! I like it! ![]()

That would be interesting. If you fought her because she was, you know, an enemy and then the next protagonist see's her in another light and then romances her. I think that would be pretty darn cool. Give the bad guys some lovin' too. ![]()
Edit:
Willing to bet it would be a straight only romance. We've already got the Tevinter who goes against the whole "I will procreate a pure blood." Now we need the opposite side of that spectrum, which would mean she would only go with a male seeing as she is "Tevinter and proud" and everything.

In an interview, Weekes spoke highly of her and mentioned the rest of the writers loved her too. I fully expect Calpernia to be alive no matter what and right now, I'm 90% sure she'll be a companion.

Ugh.
Maybe if she got a haircut and fixed her teeth.

I actually think she's really beautiful. The second I saw her I was like, "Please don't make me have to kill her. She's too pretty to die." The gap teeth, complexion, hair color; she sort of reminds me of Georgia May Jagger.

Considering that Corypheus is basically immortal until you kill his dragon, I don't believe that Calpernia's confrontation went particularly well. She didn't have the Anchor, it wasn't Haven, and I am assuming that she did not have any trebuchets on hand with which she could have started an avalanche (she also probably lacked a convenient escape route a la the Inquisitor).
My opinion is that what most likely happened is that Corypheus swatted her flat like an annoying mosquito and killed her. However, without any official declaration of her fate, sure, maybe the writers could bring her back in some capacity if they like her and think her presence makes sense in a future game. I always take the mage route, so I've never actually seen her anywhere except in MP - didn't even know that she was the Venatori commander for a while until I saw someone mention her name in a post.

All of her potential fates appear to be a "She's probably dead, but you never know" ending.

She'll tell you what she's been up to since Corypheus' defeat in the next game, as a romanceable companion
