You mean for a second time?  They did have the advancement event on March 6.

That was levels gained, not promotions.

 

Personally, I'm fine with it if they never do a promotion challenge. Too much risk of poor timing meaning not having characters available to promote for my casual self.

Individual challenge is scoring points for completed missions.  Rehash of the older challenge.  40 point goal on Xbox One

 

Community challenge is to kill Giants.  6,000 for Xbox One.

Based on the number, I'm guessing no on giants in every match, but here's hoping the number is just low because they anticipate low player numbers due to Easter.

I was soloing my Katari a moment ago and ran into a giant.

Don't know if challenge or just luck.

Am I missing something? I open challenges and I can see both in progress and 185/195 for weekend but when I go into weekend they aren't listed. I also didn't get any messages telling me there is an event on

 

Edit: they are listed in weekend event but not at the top, they are the 8th and 11th challenges down the line. weird.

Restarted the game since it went live? Not that "it works for me" was ever terribly useful input, but it works for me.
