Yeah, I get what you mean. Bioshock 2's multiplayer is dead, and there are so many trophies I can't get that are just sitting there, staring me in the face.
I spent so long playing Multiplayer in Bioshock 2 that I never got around to playing the campaign.
Never touched it...
I have all the multiplayer achievements though.
Not to rub it in... well maybe a little. 
Speaking of dead multiplayer I would hate to be the guy still trying to get MAG multiplayer trophies....
Now have 8 perfect games. I would have 9 if I wasn't procrastinating about getting that final achievement in Skyrim. Don't feel like leveling up and searching for a legendary dragon. I'll get around to it eventually.
Also went from 31% achievements in Age of Empires II HD to 34%. Every two achievements I unlock in that game counts has another 1%. 259 achievements is crazy, but at least it's not TF2 achievement tier.
I also now have 1,308 total achievements on Steam.
Recently played and achieved:
South Park The Stick of Truth (72%)
Spec Ops: The Line (50%. Game was messed up but a fun TPS, plan to go back and do another play through to unlock moar)
Serious Sam 3 BFE (50%, not quite done with it yet though. Been co-oping it)
Replayed The Darkness II (92%)
Sometimes Always Monsters (100%)
Life Is Strange (40%, waiting on ep 3-5 to release so I can make it a perfect)
Started on but haven't complete yet; Pillars of Eternity and Lego Lord of the Rings (ey, them Lego games are pretty humorous and fun tbh).
Too much free tiam. I'm a horrible influence.
My most recent achievement was in Trine.
Dead on Arrival: Complete a level with 25 or more character deaths. 
I've never 100% completed the achievements for a game, but I have come close for numerous games. I just usually lose the will to play the game after I've gotten 97% completion for them. 
Although, I do take pride that I have most of the achievements for Crusader Kings 2, and the global statistics for many of them are below 1%.
As much as achievement hunting isn't my thing I wouldn't be opposed to getting some co-op achievements in Portal 2. Both on the PC and 360 I never did delve into the co-op.
So the closest I've come in a long time to 100%ing a game is Metro Last Light Redux. I've been playing it A LOT lately and I'm sitting at 42/49 = 86% according to Steam. I did just finish it on ranger hardcore but I never got any achieves for it! >:-( So I must have done something wrong. Oh well, I guess that means I'll start it up again which I most certainly don't mind...
The only achievement I may not get is for the Tower Pack DLC, cause lol **** that ****.

Woah hold that phone, sir. I may not be an achievement ****** but I take pride in my 45 minute attempt to get Low Flyer in Just Cause 2 (only 3% of players have it according to steam, not really a big deal though) Which sounded so EZ, until you realize the flying in just cause is like trying to corral a cat...100% achievement is for ho'es. Nuff said.

I just reached 41% completion on this, but that's not good enough.
Also getting back in Age of Mythology.
I only go for platinum on games I adore to no end:
Uncharted 1-2, Dead Space 3, Far Cry 3-4, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (though there's no platinum trophy for some reason), Mass Effect 1-3, Skyrim, and Hitman 2.
I 100% one xbox 360 game. It was bad company 2, then the DLC came out...so much hate.
