Not sure if this belong here but I noticed that Origin has DAI on sale for 50% off but Jaws of Hakkon is still full price. Which gives the DLC the value of half of the main game. You can also get the entire Mass Effect trilogy for less than the cost of the Omega DLC for ME3. Will Hakkon always be $15 or will it ever be discounted like the main game?

I think it will get discount, but you need to wait few month, I think minimum 3 months. Easter soon don't expect so fast. Christmas most likely get.discount.

Just wait for the "Dragon Age Inquisition: Actually Finished" version where JoH will be included.

I'm not sure EA believes in DLC sales. ME fans have been waiting for one since forever.

Well, that may not be accurate Deadspace and crysis 3 have DLC.  I think it has been slow to adopt infact the whole DLC concept and DLC modding is sometimes like pulling teeth.

Isn't the full retail price of Inquisition around 60 US dollars? So if it's in fact 50% off, that leaves it costing 30 dollars. Jaws of Harrkon is 15 bucks. So in total, if someone buys both they're spending 45 bucks; not the full retail price. They're still saving 15 dollars.

It will most likely always be $15 for the PC version.

Maybe they'll change now that they're charging cash, but they've never discounted any BioWare DLC before that I can recall.

I'm not sure it's EA, it might be Bioware on their own as other EA games do get DLC sales. Their loss, I'm not buying what the DLC offers at that price.

I think it's a weird practice not to discount DLCs eventually. Do they think that people who don't buy the DLC at full price when it comes out are suddenly going to be willing to pay full price for it when it's six months old? I'd imagine that there'd be a pretty massive drop off of DLC sales after a given period of time so after that period, why not just discount the price to maximize the number people who are going to buy it? In my case, it's free money that they're just not bothering to pick up.

I got the DA2 and ME2-ME3 DLCs for pretty cheap.  Paid on average $7.50-$10 per DLC and mostly stuck to the story stuff.  I did get some "fluff" things. I grabbed an appearance pack for ME2, since I don't like Jack or Miranda's default outfit, and paid $5.  Did the same with ME3, because I am not a fan of EDI's starting look.  I just waited for sales.  I may or may not pick up this DLC when it goes on sale.  It depends upon how long I feel like waiting.

I wouldn't sweat it at this point.  I have noticed that sales tend to kick up during the summer months (May-September.)   I usually try to buy my games and DLC at that point, unless I pre-ordered like I did with DA:I.  Companies are promoting any latest games during convention season, and folks (in the US) are usually planning on some sort of vacation.  They tend to have extra money and time to spare.  If the DLC cost is bothersome, then just hold off.  The game nor the DLC are going anywhere.   :)
