I get the feeling not everyone realizes that "beefsteak tomatoes" are a kind of tomato, not "beef, steak, and tomatoes."
In other words, that is basically a salad with bacon on it. It's always okay to put bacon on things. That's just a rule.

FRT. I hate non salad-y salads. 
Pasta salad, Egg salad, Chicken salad, Tuna salad, Finger salad, Potato salad.. etc..etc.
It's ****** lettuce and some goddamn dressing. It isn't hard people.
