I played my first playthrough as mage with a gamepad. I just started a new one as a two-handed Qunari warrior, and I'm considering a different control scheme. Have you guys enjoyed mouse&keyboard more, or using a gamepad more?

Just like already said above, use what feels better for you. I've always used KB+M and wouldn't touch a controller with a ten-foot pole. I find those things absolutely atrocious. Everyone has their preferences.
One very important thing with regards to Mouse and Keyboard: don't hesitate to increase the mouse pointer size to maximum. It's been a torture for me until they put the option in a recent patch. If you have a large screen, you can lose track of the tiny pointer and have to pause every few seconds to find it back, especially if you play melee and plan to use mouse look rather than keyboard turn. With the cursor size set to max, the problem disappears even if it's a bit uglier.
But I agree with Chardonney, for people with an irrational hatred for controllers (like me), mouse + KB works.
If you go KB+M, rebind the keys. The default layout is very non-standard, relative to other PC games. My muscle-memory is hardwired to use E for Interact, drives me crazy when my PC turns right instead.

I did that, as well. I also changed the search scan to Q. Much easier that way.

I love the controller for the PC because I grew up with controllers. I am also more accustomed to moving my DA characters with a mouse click, so this new way (or old since many PC games use it) is too hard for me with the KB. Whatever makes it fun and easy since many hours are spent playing and both can injure you if you're not comfortable enough.
Using KB+M is better than playing with controller in my opinion. But it's up to you on how you want to play.
I have always played with KB+M with my PC games (Except Dark souls). I only changed a few keys though like space bar was jump but I turned it to pause and turned shift to jump. Also R is for auto attack I'm so happy we have that I didn't know we had it till last month.
(part of a patch 5)
