We should have ability to pause everything.

I'd like the ability to skip the unskippable cutscenes, like that godawful, unavoidable singing segment that I did not consent to, for instance.
I die of secondhand embarrassment evry tim™. (For the record, I despise musicals, and that breaking-into-song bit totally worsened an already poor experience for me.)

I'd be able to get my screenshots without accidentally flipping to the windows 8 tile screen and having my game spasm. Yes please!

Always a chuckle. This is old news, not that anything has changed.
It's common for folks to want more detail or less - OMG this goes back to DOS games! They had to know that some things flashed so fast that they were unreadable or were they that disconnected from PC? They did put in options to review the cards and the like, but in game is where it should be and dismiss or skip should be take seriously - its not a suggestion! I'm pretty sure this is the same function that interferes with "hold position" What kind of tactics system would ignore that? A broken one!

I hope we can pause cutscenes at some point. Having the last line of missed dialog visible helps, but not completely. I miss chunks of stuff sometimes simply because I play in a room with other people, doing other things, with my headphones on. If someone says something to me, I can choose to listen to one or the other, or compromise by taking one earphone off and try to pay attention to both simultaneously (never works well.)
I play as much for the dialog and story as I do for combat, since the end result of combat is always the same. Some fights are harder than others, but they all end up with the good guys standing up and the bad guys not. Not all conversations end the same, though, and the story might change if enough lines are missed.

I'd like to be able to pause them - but I'd also adore a cutscene library so I can go back and rewatch certain ones that I like / have missed parts of / etc

Is it really wise to be singing when you have that one dude and his pet dragon searching for you?

Indeed. Not to mention it simply being painfully unrealistic and immersion-breaking.

I wish I could take control of Solas at that moment and say
Guys, shhhhhhhh. There's a dragon looking for us.

Ahhh so many times I've been playing a game, and a vital cut scene begins to roll, filled with exposition... and at that point the phone rings, and it's my mum wanting to have a good old moan for 20 minutes.
Would be great to have a method of pausing them. Activating Origin overlay actually used to do this, however patch before the current one broke this completely on my system, and stopped the overlay from working. Some games now won't even launch unless 'run Origin in game' is disabled; Inquisition is one of them, so no pausing cut scenes for me ![]()

That "what the crap is going on here" face he made when he saw everyone singing pretty much summed up how I felt through the whole thing. Only, I cringed a lot more. I guess that avalanche ruined Corypheus' favorite striped stockings, and the Inquisition was confident he'd be too busy shopping for more to attack them there.
