This may sound stupid and probably very creepy, but I want to have your babies right now, biology be damned.

Considering your pic is an asari.... *akward silence*

I myself prefer 5/3 on passives and fitness

Cyclonic makes up for survivibility

Tissue paper and tanks. They both serve a purpose but shouldn't be a direct comparison. I like both for what they are and the best one is the one I happen to be playing at the moment.

I have not noticed going down any less with Valkyrie than with Fury (no cyclonics on either). With so little shield HP, tech armor barely adds any survivability at all.

The fury is more designed for mook mobs including phantoms. The valkerie is more for mobs of bullet sponge bosses but Ofcourse this is all subjective to the person's skill with the character

Whoever said that Dark Channel is non-essential... get out. Just go. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Actually, I didn't say it before, but it is not essential. I skip it and I dare anyone who's seen me play the fury to say that I don't know what I'm talking about.

Useful, we might argue on that. Essential? Lolno.

What if he does know what he's talking about, but it's irrelevant anyway?  :D

So what's essential? Why not build her 00000 and equip a Claymore and just shoot and dodge? Or simply do that for every character?

There's hardly anything in this game that counts as essential, unless one uses the literal meaning of the word.

So what's essential?

AF and Throw, obviously. What's not essential is everything else, including the weapon. And DC is the least essential of all the things you can equip Fury with, IMO, including the consumables.

Fury is all about reach and flexibility.

Valkyrie is about agility and durability in soft package.

In either case, it's going to be enjoyable experience.

If you skip DC, you're essentially throwing away your instant hit ranged tool, that's a debuff (slow is really nice) that moves on death (and can be detonated by you or teammates) and a warp ammo buff (that's also good for you and teammates). There are times that you just can't rush out and BE spawns, because you'll get rekt (like on Rio or Hydra or in hack/escort objective) Sometimes you have to stay in cover for a bit and this is when DC + shooting comes to play.

Then I'll gladly get rekt, thank you very much.

You can go hiding in cover like a coward and survive :P

You can play the Valkyrie as a BE class if you want to, and you can do pretty well with it, but you're pretty much just playing a gimped Fury if you do that.

no. just no.

I've played both as a BE monster and sticked with the Valkyrie.

read my previous previous post if you don't understand why.

6/6/6/5/3 on the Valkyrie, cyclonic III/IV, geth scanner, warp/incindiary and a nice shotgun like Raider, Piranha, maybe Reegar for the maximum cheese. I can take down a Prime surrounded by pyros and troopers on Gold by barely moving, just draining shields around me.

With the furry, it's a completely different style, it's not meant to take punishment, just hit 'n go. I like my tank asari better. "Warp field deployed!"

this is correct. The most you need in DC is 3 points, just for WA priming. Annihilation field and throw is too powerful to screw with DC.

Fury can score better than the Valkyrie assuming both are played by equally skilled players. Fury is more mobile and slays trash infantry faster. Valkyrie cannot generate as many explosions but she can slaughter bosses and some mid level enemies like scions faster.

I hate the reegar but its kind of perfect for the Valkyrie because it compliments her so well. Mobile weapons tank that needs to be close to deal out max damage. Still prefer a more eloquent weapon like the raider on both.

Throw has such a short CD that u can get away with a heavier weapon that helps branch her "weakness" against bosses. Warp ammo and a raider can do some work versus heavies.

I love reading about how the Fury & Valkyrie can't rush spawns for fear of getting rekt, or how the Valkyrie is bad if used for BE's.
