I sometimes get killstreaks fith fury when running into spawns Last game against collectors I recall getting 2 killstreaks with biotic BOOMs. It was gold glacier against collectors with pugs, lasted less than 17min, and two of them were truelly noobs

The Fury is all about speed and throwing out BEs as fast as you can use Throw. She's effectively a human Cluster Grenade. Dark Channel to begin the destruction as you close range and for bosses.

Very squishy, so speed and dodge is key to play, it's also why I really like the Scorpion and cryo ammo on her. Just make sure you kill all the mooks and then keep repriming bosses with AH by dancing in and out of range.

The Valkyrie shines being played quite differently, she's a boss annihilator and shoots to kill. AH and Warp for that double debuff, shoot with a good close range weapon, warp ammo, or incendiary for cheese. Bosses melt and any mooks are controlled with BEs as a side effect.

She's sturdy and can take quite a bit of damage but you still need to be sensible about what's targeting her.

Correction. You have to describe them both as OP and you have to hate them and anyone who plays them. Throwing the word "cheese" around frequently is pretty much also compulsory.

I've played both as a BE monster and sticked with the Valkyrie.

I read your previous post, and I understand it.  You are still not convincing me.  The Fury is a better BE class than the Valkyrie.  You can detonate more BEs in the same amount of time with the Fury, which means more damage in a shorter amount of time.  Also, if you run into a crowd with the Valkyrie and your Warp gets dodged (or your lovely teammate used Disruptor Ammo and you get a weak Tech Burst), you now are in big trouble.  With the Fury, you can just do some creative dodging and fire another Throw in a little over a second.

 

I'm not saying you can't play the Valkyrie as a BE class.  And you might be better with the Valkyrie than you are with the Fury for some reason.  But objectively, the Fury has a higher ceiling as a BE class than the Valkyrie does.  The Valkyrie's ceiling is reached by using a good weapon, and a Valkyrie with a good weapon is generally better against bosses than the Fury.

Both are top level, incredibly powerful kits, capable of pure destruction. I personally like the Valkryie more

 

Valkryie is better in a team and overall on Platinum with the number of big armor units. Fury is better at every difficulty lower than platinum as they are one of the best mook crushers in the game.

I can confirm that they're just as fast, if you want, but not that one is faster

I think what they did with the Valkyrie was that they nullified the primary weakness of the fury and nerfed its strength... After a solid amount of studying, I found that this caused them to be pretty equal to each other in its basic role as a CQC biotic, but essentially splitting the non vanguard CQC category... comparing the two is a bit like comparing bananas to say, plantains... one works better on its own, but when there is assistance, the other is much tastier...

Fury is faster. Not in a way of speed, but because she can cut walls and avoid climbing ladders.
