I took some photos tonight of the Moon as we had a lunar eclipse. This is all I got before clouds ruined my fun.

I don't get why suddenly lunar eclipses are a thing. I remember seeing heaps of these and thinking "That's interesting.", then I got bored of them. Then 2 years ago someone decided they were a thing and now every eclipse gets national press. Did someone hit a switch somewhere?

And after 170 more years, one can take pictures of Shepard driving the Mako around Mare Crisium.

 

In the mean time, the OP photos are pretty good.

No idea how, but that's one of many reasons that this became a "thing" in the last few years.

 

People are silly and love doom and gloom.
