Transferring DLC to another account?

I wanted to play Dragon Age: Origins again and found out that I have -- mysteriously -- two Origin accounts. Unfortunately, I only realized they were different after I redeemed my product code on one, and now all my previously purchased DLC from eons ago (The Stone Prisoner, Witch Hunt, Warden Keep, etc.) is on the other account.

Can I still use the DLC for this "new" account if it's registered on another? And if not, is there a way to transfer my DLC to another account? I really don't want to buy them again.

Someone from site admin might be able to help with that, although it's actually more of a tech or account support issue, I think.

If the game and the DLC are all saved on the same hard drive in the same machine, it might work, but I really don't know (it would work in the case of an Xbox or PS3, but I can't speak for Origin.)

If you try it, and you find you are locked out of the DLC, I would recommend contacting EA Support, as they're more likely to be able to address issues with Origin Accounts than the BSN site staff are.

As Jeremiah suggests, contact EA support and ask them to merge the accounts.

They may not be able to merge the accounts but you might be able to get them to transfer the entitlements from one to the other. Either way you'll have to use http://help.ea.com/ to get it fixed.

At the risk of necroing a thread some months old...

Be aware that if you have Origin accounts merged together you *will* lose any dlc you have on one of the accounts. And they'll expect you to repurchase them again.

I learned this the hard way by losing all my dlc for DAO and DA2. In hindsight i should have just accepted having two different origin accounts. But no, I thought i'd make things easier and have everything under one account. "Oh yeah, your games will be transferred across no problem to your main account."

Just without the signature edition or any other dlc! Not that i'm bitter or anything.

Edit: Forgot to mention, all the previous data is wiped clean so there is no way to confirm you had the dlc.
